Abstract

Système de diagnostic d'un capteur d'oxygène comprenant un capteur d'oxygène (12) activé à une température supérieure ou égale à une température prédéterminée et mesurant une concentration d'oxygène dans un gaz de combustion d'un moteur, un moyen (22) pour estimer et détecter la température du capteur d'oxygène, et un moyen (23) pour effectuer un diagnostic de défaillance du capteur d'oxygène, d'après une tension de sortie (V) du capteur d'oxygène et la température estimée et détectée par le moyen (22). Le moyen (22) estime et détecte la température du capteur d'oxygène d'après une température d'eau de refroidissement (TW) du moteur. Le moyen (23) évalue qu'une défaillance s'est produite dans le capteur d'oxygène si la température d'eau de refroidissement n'est pas supérieure à une première température prédéterminée (TW1), et la tension de sortie (V) du capteur d'oxygène est une valeur détectée dans l'état actif.
