Claims (2)
- インサートメタルと、上記インサートメタルを被覆する弾性体とで形成されており、筒部材と、上記筒部材内に軸方向に移動可能に挿入される軸部材との間を塞ぐシール部材であって、
上記筒部材の内周に嵌合される環状の嵌合部と、上記嵌合部から内周が徐々に縮径されながら反筒部材側に延び先端部が上記軸部材の外周面に摺接する環状のダストリップと、上記嵌合部の反筒部材側端部から外周側に張り出す環状のストッパ部とを備え、
上記インサートメタルは、
上記筒部材の内周に沿って起立して上記嵌合部に配置される環状の補強環と、上記補強環から反筒部材側に延びるとともに先端が上記軸部材に接近するように傾斜して上記ダストリップに配置される補強延設片と、上記補強環の反筒部材側端部から外周側に張り出して上記ストッパ部に配置される環板状の補強フランジ片とを有し、
環板状のワッシャの内周部を外周部に対して垂直方向に折り曲げ、折り曲げ部を斜め内側に伸ばして上記補強延設片とし、上記内周部を上記補強環、上記外周部を上記補強フランジ片としている
ことを特徴とするシール部材。 - 筒部材であるアウターチューブと、上記アウターチューブ内に移動可能に挿入される軸部材であるインナーチューブとを備えるフロントフォークであって、
上記アウターチューブと上記インナーチューブとの間を塞ぐ請求項1に記載のシール部材を備えている
ことを特徴とするフロントフォーク。
