Claims (23)
- 第1面積を有する少なくとも一つの電極ユニットが積層された第1電極積層体と、
前記第1面積より小さい第2面積を有する少なくとも一つの電極ユニットが積層された第2電極積層体と、
前記第1電極積層体及び第2電極積層体が平面に対して垂直方向に積層され、前記第1電極積層体と第2電極積層体との面積差によって段差が形成される段差部と、を含む電極組立体であって、
前記電極組立体は、縦方向に対して横方向への長さが長い長方形の分離膜に前記電極ユニットが巻取されて形成され、前記長方形の分離膜は、少なくとも一部が前記電極組立体の段差部を覆うように巻取され、前記段差部と同一形状の段差が形成され、
前記電極組立体の段差部を覆う分離膜は、前記電極ユニットを巻取して電極積層体の内部に位置する長方形の分離膜の厚さの90%以下の厚さを有し、
前記電極組立体の段差部を覆う分離膜は切断される、電極組立体。 - 前記第2電極積層体は、第2面積を有する少なくとも一つの電極ユニット上に第2面積より小さい面積を有する電極ユニットが平面に対して垂直方向に一つ以上積層された電極積層体を含み、一つ以上の段差を有する、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極ユニットは、単一電極と、少なくとも一つの陽極、少なくとも一つの陰極、少なくとも一つの分離膜を含む少なくとも一つ以上の単位セルと、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記単位セルは、ゼリーロール型、スタック型、ラミネーション・アンド・スタック型及びスタック・アンド・フォールディング型単位セルからなる群より選択される、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記単位セルは、最外郭の両面に配置される電極の極性が同一である、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記単位セルは、最外郭の両面に配置される電極の極性が異なる、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1電極積層体の最上端の電極は陰極である、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1電極積層体及び第2電極積層体は、異なる電極が相対して積層される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は2層からなる、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は3層以上からなる、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 縦方向に対して横方向への長さが長い長方形の分離膜上に第1電極積層体を形成する第1面積を有する少なくとも一つの第1電極ユニット、及び第2電極積層体を形成する第2面積を有する少なくとも一つの第2電極ユニットを配列し、前記長方形の分離膜を前記各電極ユニット単位で一方向に巻取して第1電極積層体の一面に第2電極積層体を積層し、各電極積層体間の面積差によって段差を有する電極組立体を組み立てる段階と、
前記長方形の分離膜が経由し、前記段差が形成された電極組立体の一側端面に位置するそれぞれの前記第2電極ユニットの末端部と前記第1電極積層体の最上端の第1電極ユニットの末端部との間に前記長方形の分離膜の経由によって形成された傾斜面の前記長方形の分離膜を延伸または切断して前記傾斜面のテンションを解消する段階と、を含み、
前記延伸は、前記傾斜面を形成する長方形の分離膜を加熱かつ加圧して行う、電極組立体の製造方法。 - 前記延伸は、80〜100℃の温度範囲で行われる、請求項11に記載の電極組立体の製造方法。
- 前記延伸は、80〜100℃の温度を有する治具で前記傾斜面を形成する長方形の分離膜を加圧して行われる、請求項11に記載の電極組立体の製造方法。
- 前記治具は、前記電極組立体の段差部と同一形状を有する、請求項13に記載の電極組立体の製造方法。
- 前記切断は、ナイフ、レーザー、熱線によって行われる、請求項11に記載の電極組立体の製造方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体を含む、二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は電池ケースに内蔵される、請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースは、前記電極組立体の段差形状と同一の段差部が形成される、請求項17に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースはパウチ型ケースである、請求項17に記載の二次電池。
- 前記二次電池は、リチウムイオン二次電池またはリチウムイオンポリマー二次電池である、請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項16の二次電池を二つ以上含む、電池パック。
- 請求項16の二次電池を一つ以上含む、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、携帯電話、携帯用コンピュータ、スマートフォン、スマートパッド、ネットブック、LEV(Light Electronic Vehicle)、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車または電力貯蔵装置である、請求項22に記載のデバイス。
