Claims (3)
- ソリッドステート化された増幅素子を用いて増幅した電磁波を出力する電磁波発生装置と、
前記電磁波発生装置から出力された電磁波を対象空間へ放射するための放射アンテナとを備え、
前記放射アンテナから前記対象空間へ電磁波を放射して電磁波プラズマを生成するプラズマ生成装置であって、
前記増幅素子は、その出力波形の立ち上がりにピークが現れる特性を有し、
前記電磁波発生装置は、前記ピークの期間における前記電磁波発生装置の出力を増大させるピーク増大手段を備え、前記増幅素子の出力波形の立ち上がりのピークを低減させることなく電磁波を前記放射アンテナへ出力することを特徴とするプラズマ生成装置。 - 請求項1に記載のプラズマ生成装置と、
燃焼室が形成された内燃機関本体とを備え、
前記プラズマ生成装置は、前記燃焼室を前記対象空間として電磁波プラズマを生成することを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 燃焼室が形成された内燃機関本体と、
ソリッドステート化された増幅素子を用いて増幅した電磁波を出力する電磁波発生装置と、
前記電磁波発生装置から出力された電磁波を前記燃焼室へ放射するための放射アンテナとを備え、
前記放射アンテナから前記燃焼室へ電磁波を放射することにより混合気の燃焼を促進させる内燃機関であって、
前記増幅素子は、その出力波形の立ち上がりにピークが現れる特性を有し、
前記電磁波発生装置は、前記ピークの期間における前記電磁波発生装置の出力を増大させるピーク増大手段を備え、前記増幅素子の出力波形の立ち上がりのピークを低減させることなく電磁波を前記放射アンテナへ出力することを特徴とする内燃機関。
