Claims (7)
- 電磁波を発生させる電磁波発生装置と、
前記電磁波発生装置から出力された電磁波を対象空間へ放射するための放射アンテナと、
高電圧を発生させる高電圧発生装置と、
前記対象空間に設けられ、前記高電圧発生装置から出力された高電圧が印加される放電電極と、
前記放電電極との間に第1の放電ギャップを形成する第1電極と、
前記第1電極との間に第2の放電ギャップを第2電極とを備え、
前記高電圧発生装置から高電圧を出力することにより前記第1の放電ギャップ及び第2の放電ギャップに放電プラズマを生じさせると共に、前記電磁波発生装置から電磁波を出力することにより前記アンテナから電磁波を放射して前記第1の放電ギャップ及び第2の放電ギャップの各々の放電プラズマを拡大させる
ことを特徴とするプラズマ生成装置。 - 請求項1に記載のプラズマ生成装置と、
燃焼室が形成された内燃機関本体とを備え、
前記アンテナ及び前記放電電極は、前記第1の放電ギャップ及び第2の放電ギャップが前記燃焼室に位置するように前記内燃機関本体に設けられている
ことを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 請求項1に記載のプラズマ生成装置であって、分析対象物質をプラズマ状態にするプラズマ生成装置と、
前記プラズマ生成装置によって前記分析対象物質のプラズマが生成されている領域から発せられる分析光を分析して、前記分析対象物質を分析する光分析装置とを備えている
ことを特徴とする分析装置。 - 請求項3に記載の分析装置において、
前記放射アンテナ及び前記放電電極が設けられて、前記対象空間を区画するケーシングを備え、
前記放射アンテナは、棒状に形成され、前記ケーシングのうち前記放電電極が設けられた面に対向する面から、前記放電電極へ向かって突出している
ことを特徴とする分析装置。 - 請求項3又は4に記載の分析装置において、
前記プラズマ生成装置は、前記放射アンテナからの電磁波の放射を継続することにより、電磁波により拡大させたプラズマを維持し、
前記光分析装置は、前記プラズマ生成装置がプラズマを維持するプラズマ維持期間の前記分析光の発光強度の時間積分値を用いて、前記分析対象物質を分析する
ことを特徴とする分析装置。 - 請求項5に記載の分析装置において、
前記プラズマ生成装置は、前記プラズマ維持期間中に前記放射アンテナから電磁波を連続波で放射する
ことを特徴とする分析装置。 - 請求項6に記載の分析装置において、
前記プラズマ維持期間に、前記プラズマ生成装置により維持されるプラズマが存在する領域に前記分析対象物質を移動させて、該分析対象物質をプラズマ状態にする
ことを特徴とする分析装置。
