Claims (9)
- 多孔質アルミナ支持体と、前記多孔質アルミナ支持体の外面および内面上に分散され、それに化学的に結合する硫酸バリウム層と、を含む触媒担体であって、BET表面積が少なくとも100m2/gであり、平均細孔半径が80オングストローム〜150オングストロームであり、
前記硫酸バリウムは、0.5重量%〜10重量%であり、
白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、オスミウム、イリジウム、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される貴金属が堆積した焼成済みの排気ガス浄化触媒担体。 - 前記アルミナは、ベーマイト、ガンマアルミナ、デルタアルミナ、シータアルミナ、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の触媒担体。
- 硫酸バリウム層を欠く多孔質アルミナ支持体に対して40%より多い貴金属活性部位を含有する、請求項1に記載の触媒担体。
- 請求項1に記載の触媒担体を含む、排気ガス流のための排出処理システム。
- 前記触媒担体は、セラミックまたは金属性のハニカムフロースルー基材上に配置される、請求項4に記載の排出処理システム。
- 排気ガス浄化触媒担体を調製するためのプロセスであって、
a)アルミナにバリウム塩溶液を含浸させた後、焼成することにより得た酸化バリウムおよび/または炭酸バリウム多孔質支持体を提供するステップと、
b)酸化バリウムおよび/または炭酸バリウムに対して少なくとも1モル当量の硫酸で前記多孔質支持体を処理し、前記多孔質支持体の外面および内面上に分散された硫酸バリウム層を有する多孔質支持体を生成するステップと、
c)任意に、前記硫酸バリウム層を有する前記多孔質支持体を乾燥させ、それによって、前記触媒担体を形成するステップと、
d)前記触媒担体に貴金属塩水溶液を含浸させて、含浸させた触媒担体を形成するステップと、
e)前記含浸させた触媒担体を焼成して、触媒担体に熱的に固定された貴金属を提供するステップと
を含み、
前記貴金属塩水溶液は、白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、オスミウム、イリジウム、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される貴金属を含み、
前記触媒担体は、BET表面積が少なくとも100m2/gであり、平均細孔半径が80オングストローム〜150オングストロームである、プロセス。 - ステップb)において、硫酸は、酸化バリウムおよび/または炭酸バリウムに対して1モル当量〜2モル当量である、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- ステップa)は、500℃〜750℃の温度で実行される、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 前記プロセスは、ステップd)の前に前記硫酸バリウム層を有する前記多孔質支持体を乾燥させる前記ステップを省く、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
