Description
Claims (6)
- 励起光を放出する励起光源と、
第1の面とその反対側の第2の面とを含み、前記第1の面を照射する励起光を拡散して、前記第2の面から拡散光として出射する板状の拡散層と、前記第2の面に接合された第3の面とその反対側の第4の面とを含み、前記第3の面に入射する励起光を波長変換して、前記第4の面から出射する板状の波長変換層と、を含む波長変換部材と、
前記励起光源からの励起光を集光して、前記第1の面をスポット的に照射する光学系と、前記拡散層と前記波長変換層を保持するホルダと、を備えており、
前記ホルダは、前記光学系側に小径の貫通穴のある小径部と、その反対側に大径の貫通穴のある大径部とが形成され、前記小径部と前記大径部との間には段差部が形成されており、
前記拡散層は、前記第1の面が前記小径部を覆うように前記段差部に面接触され、
前記波長変換層の前記第4の面が前記大径部から露出され、
前記拡散層の側面及び前記波長変換層の側面と前記大径部の内壁との間の隙間には、硬化性反射材が充填され、
前記拡散層の厚みは、50〜500μmの範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記第1の面のうち前記光学系で集光された前記励起光源からの励起光が照射される領域以外の領域が反射手段で覆われていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記拡散層及び前記波長変換層は、矩形板状であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学系は、前記励起光源からの励起光を集光して、前記第1の面の中心をスポット的に照射する集光レンズを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学系は、前記励起光源からの励起光を集光する集光レンズと、前記集光レンズで集光された前記励起光源からの励起光を導光して、前記第1の面の中心をスポット的に照射するライトガイドと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の発光装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の発光装置と、
前記発光装置からの光を制御して、車両前方を照射するように構成された光学系と、を備えることを特徴とする車両用灯具。
