Claims (8)
- 対向配置され、少なくとも一方に電極を備える一対の基板であって、第1の基板と第2の基板からなり、少なくとも該第1の基板側から表示が観察される一対の基板と、
前記一対の基板間に配置され、エレクトロケミカルルミネセンス材料を含む電解液層であり、前記一対の基板の電極に交流電圧を印加することで発光を生じる発光層と、
前記発光層の、少なくとも前記第1の基板側に形成された光散乱層と
を有する表示素子。 - 前記電解液層は、更に、発色材料を含み、前記一対の基板の電極に直流電圧を印加することで発色を生じる請求項1に記載の表示素子。
- 前記第1の基板は電極を備え、前記第1の基板の電極上に発色材料を含む発色層が形成されており、該発色層は、前記一対の基板の電極に直流電圧を印加することで発色を生じる請求項1に記載の表示素子。
- 前記光散乱層は、酸化金属粒子で構成される白色層である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の表示素子。
- (a)少なくとも一方に電極を備える一対の基板であって、第1の基板と第2の基板からなり、少なくとも該第1の基板側から表示を観察する一対の基板を作製する工程と、
(b)前記第1の基板上、または上方に光散乱層を形成する工程と、
(c)前記一対の基板間にエレクトロケミカルルミネセンス材料を含む電解液層を形成する工程と
を有し、
前記工程(c)において、前記電解液層の電解液を前記光散乱層に浸透させる表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記工程(c)において、前記一対の基板間にエレクトロケミカルルミネセンス材料及び発色材料を含む電解液層を形成する請求項5に記載の表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記第1の基板は電極を備え、
前記工程(a)の後、前記工程(b)の前に、
(d)前記第1の基板の電極上に発色材料を含む発色層を形成する工程
を有する請求項5に記載の表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記工程(b)において、酸化金属粒子で構成される白色層である光散乱層を形成する請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の表示素子の製造方法。
