Claims (2)
- 燃焼室に連通する複数の吸気通路のうち少なくともいずれかに燃料を噴射する噴射部と、
前記燃焼室に隣接するピストンと、
前記複数の吸気通路を個別に開閉する複数の吸気弁と、
前記燃焼室に対して配置された排気弁と、
前記複数の吸気弁および前記排気弁のバルブ特性のうち少なくとも前記排気弁の閉弁時期を変更する動弁装置と、
前記複数の吸気弁のうち一部の吸気弁の作動を閉弁状態で休止させる吸気弁休止装置とを備え、
前記噴射部が前記複数の吸気通路のうち少なくとも前記一部の吸気弁が開閉する吸気通路以外の吸気通路に燃料を噴射し、
機関温度が所定値よりも低い場合に、前記動弁装置が前記排気弁を前記ピストンの排気上死点よりも進角側で閉弁し、前記吸気弁休止装置が前記一部の吸気弁の作動を閉弁状態で休止させ、前記動弁装置と前記吸気弁休止装置とが、前記複数の吸気弁のうち前記一部の吸気弁以外の吸気弁と前記排気弁との間でマイナスオーバラップを形成する内燃機関。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関であって、
前記排気弁を複数備えるとともに、前記複数の排気弁のうち一部の排気弁の作動を閉弁状態で休止させる排気弁休止装置をさらに備え、
前記機関温度が前記所定値よりも低く、且つ前記燃焼室から排出される排気を浄化する触媒の床温が所定値よりも低い場合に、さらに前記排気弁休止装置が前記一部の排気弁の作動を閉弁状態で休止させ、前記排気弁休止装置が前記動弁装置および前記吸気弁休止装置とともに、前記複数の吸気弁のうち前記一部の吸気弁以外の吸気弁と、前記複数の排気弁のうち前記一部の排気弁以外の排気弁との間でマイナスオーバラップを形成する内燃機関。
