Description
図1〜図6を用いて、本発明の第1実施の形態に係る締結構造について説明する。なお、説明の便宜上、図において適宜示されている矢印Uとして示す側は上側、矢印Lとして示す側は下側として説明されるが、自動車等の車体に対する締結構造の適用方向が限定されるものではない。
図1に示されるように、自動車等の車両における締結構造10は、樹脂材料を含んで構成された樹脂製部材14を金属製の締結用部材16に取付け、金属製の被締結部材12と締結用部材16とを締結手段20により締結して固定する構成とされている。本実施の形態において、被締結部材12は例えば金属製の車体骨格部材であり、樹脂製部材14は例えば樹脂製のエンジンフード、ドアパネル、バックドアパネルのヒンジ部である。換言すれば、本実施の形態に係る締結構造10は、異種材料により形成された部材間を締結する構造である。なお、具体的な部材に関しては、上記例示に限定されるものではない。
本実施の形態に係る締結構造10では、図1に示されるように、樹脂材料を含んで構成された樹脂製部材14の取付用貫通孔14Hに金属製の締結用部材16が挿入される。そして、被締結部材12及び締結用部材16は締結手段20により締結されて固定される。
第1実施の形態の第1変形例及び第2変形例は、締結構造10における樹脂製部材14の好適な変形例を製造方法によって説明するものである。なお、第1変形例並びに後述する変形例や第2実施の形態において、第1実施の形態に係る締結構造10の構成要素と同一又は同等の構成要素には同一符号を付し、同一符号が付された構成要素の説明は重複するので省略する。
図5(A)及び図5(B)は樹脂製部材14の他の製造方法を工程毎に説明する工程断面図である。まず、図5(A)に示されるように、取付用貫通孔14Hの形成領域において裏面14Bから突設された断面で逆台形状の凸部14pを有し、かつ凸部14pの内部に凹設された断面で逆台形状の凹部14h(テーパ孔)を有する板状の樹脂製部材14が形成される。第1変形例の凹部14hと同様に、凹部14hの内壁にはテーパ内壁面14Tが形成される。また、第1変形例の樹脂製部材14と同様に、樹脂製部材14は、成形金型を用いた成形により形成される。
前述の第1実施の形態に係る締結構造10では、締結箇所以外の箇所でも、被締結部材12と樹脂製部材14との間に隙間S1が設けられている。第3変形例は、隙間S1を適正に保持する例を説明するものである。
図7を用いて、本発明の第2実施の形態に係る締結構造について説明する。第2実施の形態は、第1実施の形態に係る締結構造10の応用例であり、樹脂材料を含んで構成された複数の被締結部材を有する締結構造を説明するものである。
図7に示されるように、第2実施の形態に係る締結構造10は、樹脂材料を含んで構成された樹脂製部材14を金属製の締結用部材16に取付け、同様に樹脂材料を含んで構成された樹脂製部材40を金属製の締結用部材42に取付け、締結用部材14と締結用部材42とを締結手段20により締結して固定する構成とされている。樹脂製部材14、締結用部材16、締結手段20の各々の構成は、第1実施の形態における樹脂製部材14、締結用部材16及び締結手段20の構成と同一である。
(本実施の形態の作用及び効果)
本実施の形態に係る締結構造10では、前述の第1実施の形態に係る締結構造10により得られる作用効果と同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
本発明は、上記実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、その要旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々変更可能である。例えば、本発明に係る締結構造は、上記樹脂製部材として例示されたヒンジ部に限定されるものではなく、樹脂製のエンジンフード等の外装部品や、樹脂製のインストルメントパネル等の内装部品を固定する場合でも適用可能である。また、第2実施の形態に係る締結構造では、上下締結用部材間に金属製の被締結部材が介在されて、上下締結用部材及び被締結部材に締結荷重が作用される構成としてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 表面から裏面へ向かって縮径されたテーパ内壁面を持つ取付用貫通孔を有し、樹脂材料を含んで構成された樹脂製部材と、
表面が前記樹脂製部材の裏面と対向し、かつ、締結箇所において前記樹脂製部材に隙間を介して設けられた金属製の被締結部材と、
前記取付用貫通孔の内部へ挿入され、中間部が前記テーパ内壁面に当接されるテーパ外壁面を持つと共に、当該テーパ外壁面の小径側の一部が前記樹脂製部材の裏面よりも前記隙間に突出されて前記小径側の端部が前記被締結部材の表面に当接されるカラー部と、当該カラー部の大径側の端部に前記樹脂製部材の表面に沿って張出されたフランジ部とを有する金属製の締結用部材と、
前記被締結部材と前記締結用部材とに締結荷重を作用させる締結手段と、
前記樹脂製部材の表面と前記フランジ部との間に設けられ、前記樹脂製部材と前記締結用部材とを接着する接着剤と、
を備えた締結構造。 - 前記締結箇所以外の箇所において、前記樹脂製部材と前記被締結部材との間に、前記隙間を形成する間隙部材、前記樹脂製部材の裏面から突出する間隙部、又は前記被締結部材の表面から突出する間隙部が設けられている請求項1に記載の締結構造。
- 前記取付用貫通孔は、前記テーパ内壁面を有し、前記樹脂製部材の表面から裏面へ向かって形成されたテーパ孔と、このテーパ孔の小径側に繋がれて前記樹脂製部材の裏面へ貫通され、内壁面が円筒面とされた貫通孔とにより構成されている請求項1又は請求項2に記載の締結構造。
