Description
本出願は、2011年12月8日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/568,639号明細書の利益を主張し、その開示内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
層から獲得開始時間を取得できる。この情報ならびにタイミングの不確実性のガードインターバルに基づいて、mmW WTRUは、mBによって送信されるビーコンを検出する手順を開始する時間を判定する。検出手順は、図3に関して説明したように、データ送信の確立を望むビームでもある、受信ビームの最大のエネルギーを提供するmBと上手く時間同期したmmW WTRU上で完了する。このプロセスによって実現された時間同期に加え、mmW WTRUは、セル固有のさまざまなプロパティを抽出するために使用できるmBおよびビームのアイデンティティ(即ち、セルおよびビームのアイデンティティ)を取得することもできる。
1、ミリ波(mmW)ビーム獲得のために、無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)において実装される方法であって、セルラーシステムを通じてミリ波(mmW)WTRU(mmW WTRU)情報を基地局に送信することを備えることを特徴とする方法。
Claims (7)
- ミリ波(mmW)ビーム捕捉のために構成された無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
セルラーシステム上でミリ波(mmW)WTRU(mmW WTRU)情報を基地局に送信するように構成され、前記mmW WTRU情報は、前記mmW WTRUにおける位置を少なくとも含み、前記mmW WTRU情報は、候補mmW基地局(mB)リストの作成で使用される、送信機と、
前記基地局から、mmW捕捉開始タイミング情報を含む前記mBリストを受信するように構成された受信機と、
前記mBリスト内の前記mmW捕捉開始タイミング情報を使用してスライディングウィンドウ相関を実行するように構成されたプロセッサーと
を備えたWTRU。 - 前記mmW捕捉開始タイミング情報は、前記セルラーシステムのタイミングに対するタイミング情報を含む請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記受信機は、前記mBリストを受信した後に、ビーム掃引反復の数、署名シーケンスに対応するmB及びビーム固有のインデックス、及びmmW WTRU報告に対するリソース割り当てのうちの少なくとも1つを受信するように構成され、前記プロセッサーは、前記ビーム掃引反復の数、署名シーケンスに対応するmB及びビーム固有のインデックス、及びmmW WTRU報告に対するリソース割り当てのうちの前記少なくとも1つに基づいて、前記リスト内のmBに対して相関値を計算するように構成された請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記mmW WTRUは、前記mBリスト内のmB及び前記mBリスト内のビームに対応する署名シーケンスを使用してスライディングウィンドウ相関を実行するように構成された請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記送信機は、前記基地局によって指示された通りにセルラーリンクまたはmmWリンクのうちの少なくとも1つの上でフィードバック情報を送信するように構成された請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記送信機は、最高受信mmW信号強度と対応するmB/ビームインデックス、及び、予め定められた閾値を超える最高受信mmW信号強度のうちの少なくとも1つを送信するように構成された請求項1に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサーは、
mBによって送信された変調ビーコンを検出し、
前記変調ビーコンをスライディングウィンドウフィルターと相関させ、
単一ステージの変調が使用されるという条件で最高ピークエネルギーに基づいて固有のmBとビームとのペアを決定し、
複数のステージ変調が使用されるという条件でビーコンフレームタイミング及び固有のビーム識別を決定するように構成された請求項1に記載のWTRU。
