Description
本出願は、2011年12月8日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/568,639号明細書の利益を主張し、その開示内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
層から獲得開始時間を取得できる。この情報ならびにタイミングの不確実性のガードインターバルに基づいて、mmW WTRUは、mBによって送信されるビーコンを検出する手順を開始する時間を判定する。検出手順は、図3に関して説明したように、データ送信の確立を望むビームでもある、受信ビームの最大のエネルギーを提供するmBと上手く時間同期したmmW WTRU上で完了する。このプロセスによって実現された時間同期に加え、mmW WTRUは、セル固有のさまざまなプロパティを抽出するために使用できるmBおよびビームのアイデンティティ(即ち、セルおよびビームのアイデンティティ)を取得することもできる。
1、ミリ波(mmW)ビーム獲得のために、無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)において実装される方法であって、セルラーシステムを通じてミリ波(mmW)WTRU(mmW WTRU)情報を基地局に送信することを備えることを特徴とする方法。
Claims (8)
- 無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサと動作可能なように結合された送受信機と、
を備え、
前記送受信機は、第1の無線アクセス技術(RAT)を使用して、構成情報を受信するように構成され、前記構成情報は、第2のRATのビームに関連付けられたインデックスと、前記第1のRATのフレームのインジケーションと、前記第1のRATのサブフレームとを含み、
前記プロセッサは、前記第1のRATの示されたフレームの開始時間にて、および前記第1のRATの前記サブフレームにて、前記第2のRATの前記ビームを測定するように構成され、
前記送受信機は、前記第1のRATに、測定報告を送信するように構成され、前記測定報告は、ビーム測定および前記ビームの前記インデックスを含む
WTRU。 - 前記構成情報は、それぞれの複数のビームに関連付けられる複数のインデックスをさらに含み、前記測定報告は、測定と、最も高い信号強度を持つ前記複数のビームのうちの一つの前記インデックスとを含む、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記構成情報は、無線リソース制御(RRC)メッセージで受信される、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記WTRUは、前記第1のRATおよび前記第2のRATの両方に同時に接続されるように構成される、請求項1のWTRU。
- 無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)によって実行される方法であって、
第1の無線アクセス技術(RAT)を使用して、構成情報を受信することであって、前記構成情報は、第2のRATのビームに関連付けられたインデックスと、前記第1のRATのフレームのインジケーションと、前記第1のRATのサブフレームとを含む、ことと、
前記WTRUによって、前記第1のRATの示されたフレームの開始時間にて、および前記第1のRATの前記サブフレームにて、前記第2のRATの前記ビームを測定することと、
前記WTRUによって前記第1のRATに、測定報告を送信することであって、前記測定報告は、ビーム測定および前記ビームの前記インデックスを含む、ことと
を備える方法。 - 前記構成情報は、それぞれの複数のビームに関連付けられる複数のインデックスをさらに含み、前記測定報告は、測定と、最も高い信号強度を持つ前記複数のビームのうちの一つの前記インデックスとを含む、請求項5の方法。
- 前記構成情報は、無線リソース制御(RRC)メッセージで受信される、請求項5の方法。
