Description
本出願は、2011年12月8日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/568,639号明細書の利益を主張し、その開示内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
層から獲得開始時間を取得できる。この情報ならびにタイミングの不確実性のガードインターバルに基づいて、mmW WTRUは、mBによって送信されるビーコンを検出する手順を開始する時間を判定する。検出手順は、図3に関して説明したように、データ送信の確立を望むビームでもある、受信ビームの最大のエネルギーを提供するmBと上手く時間同期したmmW WTRU上で完了する。このプロセスによって実現された時間同期に加え、mmW WTRUは、セル固有のさまざまなプロパティを抽出するために使用できるmBおよびビームのアイデンティティ(即ち、セルおよびビームのアイデンティティ)を取得することもできる。
1、ミリ波(mmW)ビーム獲得のために、無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)において実装される方法であって、セルラーシステムを通じてミリ波(mmW)WTRU(mmW WTRU)情報を基地局に送信することを備えることを特徴とする方法。
Claims (14)
- プロセッサと、
送受信機と
を備えた無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
前記送受信機は、第1のネットワークノードから、第2のネットワークノードへのリンクを確立するための構成情報を受信するように構成され、前記第1のネットワークノードは、第1の無線アクセス技術(RAT)を使用し、前記第2のネットワークノードは、第2のRATを使用し、前記構成情報は、前記第2のネットワークノードの複数のビームのうちの少なくとも第1のビームに関連付けられるタイミング情報を含み、
前記送受信機および前記プロセッサは、前記タイミング情報に基づいて前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちの少なくとも前記第1のビームを測定するように構成され、
前記プロセッサは、前記測定に基づいて前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちのビームを選択するように構成され、
前記送受信機および前記プロセッサは、少なくとも前記第1のネットワークノードに送信を送るように構成され、前記送信は、前記WTRUが前記第2のネットワークノードへの前記リンクを確立するように構成されているという表示である、
WTRU。 - 前記送受信機および前記プロセッサは、前記第2のネットワークノードに送信を送るように構成され、前記第2のネットワークノードへの前記送信は、前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームの前記選択されたビームに関連付けられる、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記第2のネットワークノードに送られた前記送信は、物理チャネルの上で送信される、請求項2のWTRU。
- 前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちの少なくとも前記第1のビームに関連付けられる前記タイミング情報は、前記第1のネットワークノードによって使用される前記第1のRATに関連付けられるフレームおよびサブフレームの表示を含む、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記第1のRATは、ロングタームエボリューションのRATであり、前記構成情報は、無線リソース制御(RRC)メッセージにおいて受信される、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームの前記選択されたビームの測定は、予め定められた品質要件を満たす、請求項1のWTRU。
- 前記送受信機および前記プロセッサは、前記第1のネットワークノードおよび前記第2のネットワークノードの両方へのリンクを同時に維持するように構成される、請求項1のWTRU。
- 無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)によって実行される方法であって、
第1のネットワークノードから、第2のネットワークノードへのリンクを確立するための構成情報を受信することであって、前記第1のネットワークノードは、第1の無線アクセス技術(RAT)を使用し、前記第2のネットワークノードは、第2のRATを使用し、前記構成情報は、前記第2のネットワークノードの複数のビームのうちの少なくとも第1のビームに関連付けられるタイミング情報を含む、ことと、
前記タイミング情報に基づいて前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちの少なくとも前記第1のビームを測定することと、
前記測定に基づいて前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちのビームを選択することと、
少なくとも前記第1のネットワークノードに送信を送ることであって、前記送信は、前記WTRUが前記第2のネットワークノードへの前記リンクを確立するように構成されているという表示である、ことと
を備える方法。 - 前記測定に基づいて前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちのビームを選択した後、前記第2のネットワークノードに送信を送ることであって、前記第2のネットワークノードへの前記送信は、前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームの前記選択されたビームに関連付けられる、ことをさらに備える、請求項8の方法。
- 前記第2のネットワークノードに送られた前記送信は、物理チャネルの上で送信される、請求項9の方法。
- 前記第2のネットワークノードの前記複数のビームのうちの少なくとも前記第1のビームに関連付けられる前記タイミング情報は、前記第1のネットワークノードによって使用される前記第1のRATに関連付けられるフレームおよびサブフレームの表示を含む、請求項8の方法。
- 前記第1のRATは、ロングタームエボリューションのRATであり、前記構成情報は、無線リソース制御(RRC)メッセージにおいて受信される、請求項8の方法。
