Description
気相重合では、1種以上の単量体を含有するガス状流れを、反応条件下で触媒の存在下に流動床に通す。反応器から重合生成物を取り出すと共に、新たな単量体を反応器に導入する。未反応の炭化水素単量体及び/又は希釈剤といった残留ガス状及び/又は液状成分は、通常、重合生成物に吸収される。これらの揮発性の未反応単量体及び/又は希釈剤は、重合粒子から除去される必要がある。
ポリオレフィンパージガス生成物から炭化水素を回収するためのシステム及び方法を提供する。この方法は、1種以上の揮発性炭化水素を含むポリオレフィン生成物を重合反応器から回収し、該ポリオレフィン生成物とパージガスとを、該揮発性炭化水素の少なくとも一部分を除去するように接触させて、揮発性炭化水素及び揮発性炭化水素に富んだパージガス生成物の濃度の減少したポリオレフィン生成物を生成させることを含むことができる。揮発性炭化水素は、水素、メタン、1種以上のC2〜C12炭化水素又はそれらの任意の組合せを含むことができる。パージガス生成物は、約50kPa〜約250kPaの圧力であることができる。また、この方法は、パージガスを約2,500kPa〜約10,000kPaの圧力に圧縮することも含むことができる。また、この方法は、圧縮したパージガス生成物を冷却し、そして少なくとも第1生成物、第2生成物及び第3生成物に分離することを含むことができる。また、この方法は、第1生成物、第2生成物及び第3生成物の少なくとも1種の少なくとも一部分を、第1生成物をパージガスとして再循環させ、第2生成物を重合反応器に再循環させ、そして第3生成物を圧縮前に揮発性炭化水素に富んだパージガス生成物に再循環させることを含むことができる。

Claims (23)
- ポリオレフィンパージガス生成物から炭化水素を回収するための方法であって、
1種以上の揮発性炭化水素を含むポリオレフィン生成物を重合反応器から回収し;
該ポリオレフィン生成物とパージガスとを接触させて、該揮発性炭化水素の少なくとも一部分を除去して、揮発性炭化水素及び揮発性炭化水素に富んだパージガス生成物の濃度が減少した重合体生成物を生成し、ここで、該揮発性炭化水素は水素、メタン、1種以上のC2〜C12炭化水素又はそれらの任意の組合せを含み、しかも該パージガス生成物は、50kPaa〜250kPaaの圧力であり;
該パージガス生成物を2,500kPaa〜10,000kPaaの圧力に圧縮し;
圧縮された該パージガス生成物を冷却し、その際、熱を該圧縮されたパージガス生成物から、冷却された該パージガス生成物の分離によってそれぞれ形成された第1生成物、第2生成物及び第3生成物に移し;そして
該第1生成物、該第2生成物及び該第3生成物の少なくとも一つの少なくとも一部分を、該第1生成物をパージガスとして、該第2生成物を該重合反応器に又は該第3生成物を圧縮前の揮発性炭化水素に富んだパージガス生成物に再循環させること

- 前記圧縮パージガス生成物が3,100kPaa〜4,500kPaaの圧力である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮パージガス生成物を−65℃未満の温度に冷却する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記パージガス生成物の温度を圧縮中に予め決定しておいた最大温度よりも低く維持する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記予め決定しておいた最大温度が200℃未満である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性炭化水素が、エチレンと、ブテン、ヘキセン又はオクテンの少なくとも1種とを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記パージガスが窒素を含み、前記第1生成物が70重量%以上の窒素を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1生成物が500ppmv未満のC4炭化水素、250ppmv未満のC5炭化水素、100ppmv未満のC6炭化水素及び100ppmv未満のC7及びそれよりも重質の炭化水素を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ポリオレフィンパージガス生成物から炭化水素を回収するためのシステムであって、
1種以上の揮発性炭化水素を含むポリオレフィン生成物を重合反応器から受け取るように構成されたパージ瓶であって、該パージ瓶内において該ポリオレフィン生成物とパージガスとを接触させて該揮発性炭化水素の少なくとも一部分を除去して、揮発性炭化水素及び揮発性炭化水素が多く含まれるパージガス生成物の濃度が減少したポリオレフィン生成物を生成させ、該揮発性炭化水素が水素、メタン、1種以上のC2〜C12炭化水素又はそれらの任意の組合せを含み、該パージガス生成物が50kPaa〜250kPaaの圧力であるものと、
該パージガス生成物を2,500kPaa〜10,000kPaaの圧力に圧縮するように構成された圧縮システムと、
圧縮された該パージガス生成物を冷却し、その際、熱を該圧縮されたパージガス生成物から、冷却された該パージガス生成物の分離によってそれぞれ形成された第1生成物、第2生成物及び第3生成物に移すように構成された冷却システムと、
該第1生成物、該第2生成物及び該第3生成物の少なくとも一つの少なくとも一部分を、該第1生成物をパージガスとして、該第2生成物を重合反応器に及び該第3生成物を揮発性炭化水素が多く含まれる圧縮前のパージガス生成物に再循環させるように構成された少なくとも1個のリサイクルラインと
を備えるシステム。 - 該圧縮パージガス生成物の少なくとも一部分を圧縮前のパージガス生成物に再循環させるように構成されたリサイクルラインをさらに備える、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧縮システムが少なくとも2個の圧縮機を備える、請求項16又は17に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧縮システムが圧縮パージガスの一部を、前記圧縮機の少なくとも一つで圧縮した後に該圧縮機の上流に再循環させるように構成された少なくとも1個のリサイクルラインをさらに備える、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧縮システムが2個以上の圧縮機を備え、第1圧縮機が前記パージガス生成物を後の圧縮機以上の圧力比で圧縮する、請求項16〜19のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧縮システムが2個以上の圧縮機と、各圧縮機から回収された圧縮パージガスを冷却するように構成された1個以上の熱交換器と、任意の凝縮液体の少なくとも一部分を各圧縮機の後で該圧縮パージガス生成物から分離するように構成された1個以上のセパレーターとを備える、請求項16〜20のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記冷却システムが、前記圧縮パージガスからの熱を該冷却システム内で生成された3種以上の生成物に間接的に交換することによって該圧縮パージガスを冷却するように構成された1個以上の熱交換器を備え、該3種以上の生成物のそれぞれが冷却後の圧縮パージガスの一部を含む、請求項16〜21のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記冷却システムが前記圧縮パージガス生成物を該冷却システムにおける冷却剤源として使用するように構成されている、請求項16〜22のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
