Description
Claims (4)
- レンズと、当該レンズの位置を調整するための駆動素子と、当該レンズの位置を検出するための位置検出素子と、を備える撮像装置に搭載されるフォーカス制御回路であって、
前記位置検出素子の出力信号により特定される前記レンズの位置と、設定される位置との差分をもとに、前記レンズの位置を、設定される位置に合わせるための駆動信号を生成し、前記駆動素子を制御するイコライザと、
前記レンズの各位置において撮像された画像信号をもとに前記レンズの合焦位置を決定するイメージシグナルプロセッサから前記レンズの目標位置の変更指示を受けると、旧目標位置から新目標位置に到達するまで、それらの範囲の複数の位置信号を、順次、前記イコライザに設定する専用ハードウェアで構成される位置設定回路と、
を備えることを特徴とするフォーカス制御回路。 - 前記位置設定回路は、旧目標位置から新目標位置へ前記レンズを漸次的に移動させるべく、段階的に増加または減少する複数の位置信号を生成し、順次、前記イコライザに設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォーカス制御回路。
- 前記位置設定回路は、前記レンズの目標位置が変更されるたびに、前記イメージシグナルプロセッサから、開始位置、終了位置、ステップ幅、および更新間隔を受け、それらをもとに前記イコライザに設定する位置信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフォーカス制御回路。
- 前記ステップ幅には、極性情報が設定可能であり、
前記位置設定回路は、前記ステップ幅に極性情報が設定されている場合、その極性にしたがった方向に前記イコライザに設定する位置信号を更新し、当該極性情報が設定されていない場合、あらかじめ設定された方向に前記イコライザに設定する位置信号を更新することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のフォーカス制御回路。
