ジ−n−ブチルスルフィド、ジ−n−オクチルスルフィド、ジフェニルスルフィド、チオジグリコール、エチルチオエタノール、ジイソプロピルジスルフィド、ジ−n−ブチル−ジスルフィド、ジ−n−ヘキシルジスルフィド、ジアセチルジスルフィド、ジエタノールスルフィド、ジ−t−ブチルトリスルフィド及びジメチルスルフォキシド。分子量調整剤として有利に使用される化合物は、メルカプト化合物、ジアルキルスルフィド、ジアルキルジスルフィド及び/又はジアリールスルフィドである。これらの化合物の例は、エチルチオグリコレート、2−エチルヘキシルチオグリコレート、ペンタエリトリットテトラチオグリコレート、システイン、2−メルカプトエタノール、1,3−メルカプトプロパノール、3−メルカプトプロパン−1,2−ジオール、1,4−メルカプトブタノール、メルカプト酢酸、3−メルカプトプロピオン酸、チオグリコール酸、メルカプトコハク酸、チオグリセリン、チオ酢酸、チオ尿素及びアルキルメルカプタン、例えば、n−ブチルメルカプタン、n−ヘキシルメルカプタン、t−ドデシルメルカプタン又はn−ドデシルメルカプタンである。特に有利に使用される重合調整剤は、メルカプトアルコール及びメルカプトカルボン酸である。本発明の範囲では、連鎖移動剤として、n−ドデシルメルカプタン及びt−ドデシルメルカプタンの使用が極めて特に有利である。
約18〜31個のC原子を有するn−アルカン:0.7〜1.0%、
18〜31個のC原子を有する僅かに分枝鎖したアルカン:1.0〜8.0%、
14〜32個のC原子を有する芳香族体:0.4〜10.7%、
20〜32個のC原子を有するイソアルカン及びシクロアルカン:60.7〜82.4%、
極性化合物:0.1〜0.8%、
損失:6.9〜19.4%。
方法
摩擦係数の測定
摩擦係数測定のために、全ポリマーを、Nexbase 3060(API群III基油)中で、3.5mPasに、HTHS150で、ASTM D 4683により調整した。摩擦係数測定を、PCS InstrumentsのMini Traction Machine上で、次の条件下に実施した:
摩擦降下(低速度(low speed))
シェル四球装置(VKA)は、潤滑剤の溶接力及び商品力(DIN 51 350 部2及び3)及び異なった摩擦特性値及び摩耗特性値(DIN 51 350 部3及び5)の測定のためのDIN 51 350 部1に規定された試験装置である。標準試験では、回転するボールベアリングを、負荷下に、3個の同じような、しかし静止した球上に圧押しする。試験台は、特に、潤滑剤工業で広く流布していて、かつそこで製品開発及び品質制御のために日常的に使用される。
ポリマーの特性決定のために、Firma NesteのAPI群III基油(NEXBASE 3060)中の比粘度を、一定のポリマー濃度で測定した。測定値を後記の表に、mL/gで挙げる。
本発明による例の一般的合成法:
次の一般的合成法を、本発明による全ポリマーで行い、その正確なポリマー組成、重合温度及び重合開始剤含量は、第1表から引用することができる。
DPMA: アルキル基中に12〜15個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリレート
EHMA: エチルヘキシルメタクリレート
GLMA: グリシジルメタクリレート
LMA: アルキル基中に12〜14個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリレート
MMA: メチルメタクリレート
MSA: 無水マレイン酸
NVP: N−ビニルピロリドン
SMA: アルキル基中に16〜18個のC原子を有するアルキルメタクリレート
Sty: スチロール
hPBDMA: マクロモノマー:水素化ポリブタジエンのメタクリレート
Claims (16)
- 潤滑油特性の改善のための、アルコール残基中に6〜22個の炭素原子を有する(メタ)アクリレートから誘導される繰返単位を含む、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートにおいて、該ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、グラフトコポリマーであり、グラフト基幹は、アルコール残基中に6〜22個の炭素原子を有する(メタ)アクリレートから誘導される繰返単位を含み、かつグラフト側枝は、極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーのアミン誘導体から誘導される繰返単位を含み、このアミン誘導体は、一級アミンから誘導されることを特徴とする、潤滑油特性の改善のためのポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- アミン誘導体がそれから誘導される極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーは、マレイン酸、無水マレイン酸又はマレイン酸誘導体である、請求項1に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- マレイン酸誘導体が、マレイン酸モノエステル又はマレイン酸ジエステルである、請求項2に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- アミン誘導体がそれから誘導される極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーは、エポキシド基を有する(メタ)アクリレートである、請求項1に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- 極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーのアミン誘導体は、少なくとも2個のアミノ基を含むアミンから誘導され、この際、1個のアミノ基は一級アミノ基であり、かつ少なくとも1個のアミノ基は二級アミノ基である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- アミン誘導体は、
式 R 5 −NH−R 6 −NH 2
[式中、R 5 は、1〜18個の炭素原子を有する基であり、かつR 6 は、2〜18個の炭素原子を有する基である]に相応する、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。 - 極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーのアミン誘導体は、N−フェニル−1,4−フェニレンジアミンから誘導される、請求項6に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、100℃で5〜35mL/gの範囲で比粘度を有する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、スチレンモノマー、複素環式モノマー、ビニルエーテル及び/又はビニルエステルから誘導される繰返単位を含む、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、スチレンモノマー、複素環式モノマー、ビニルエーテル及び/又はビニルエステルから誘導される繰返単位0.1〜20質量%を含む、請求項9に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。
- ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、

d)極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーのアミン誘導体から誘導される繰返単位0.1〜10質量%を含む、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。 - ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートは、

d)極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーのアミン誘導体から誘導される繰返単位0.1〜10質量%を含む、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート。 - 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートを製造する方法であって、先ずグラフト基幹を、6〜22個の炭素原子を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合によって製造し、その後に、この基幹上に、極性エチレン系不飽和モノマーをグラフト化させ、かつその後に、取得したポリマーを少なくとも1種のアミンと反応させることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1種のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートを含有する潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート0.01〜30質量%を含む、請求項14に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 摩擦降下のための、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートの使用。
