Description
本実施形態では、無機酸化物担体として、シリカ(細孔径:3nm、6nm、10nm、30nm、50nm、100nm、200nm、250nmの9種類)、アルミナ(細孔径10nm)、ジルコニア(細孔径9nm)、チタニア(細孔径7nm)を用意した。これらの無機酸化物担体は、ペレット状(寸法:約2〜4mm)である。
次に、疎水化処理を施した担体に触媒金属を担持した。本実施形態では触媒金属として、白金、パラジウム、ルテニウムに加えて白金−ルテニウム合金(Pt:Ru=5:5)、白金−パラジウム合金(Pt:Pd=3:7、5:5、7:3の3種)を担持した。これらの触媒金属の金属化合物溶液としては、塩化白金酸エタノール溶液、塩化ルテニウム溶液(溶媒エタノール)、塩化パラジウム溶液(溶媒エタノール)を用いた。触媒金属の担持は前記金属化合物溶液に、疎水化処理を施した担体を浸漬した。その後、ロータリーエバポレーターにて溶媒を蒸発させた後、熱処理した。

- 無機酸化物からなる担体に触媒金属が担持されてなる水−水素交換反応用触媒において、
前記担体は、その表面に疎水性化合物が結合され疎水性が付与された無機酸化物からなり、
前記触媒金属は必須成分として白金を含む金属であり、
白金担持量1質量%あたりの塩素含有量が、触媒全体質量基準で25ppm以上1000ppm以下であることを特徴とする水−水素交換反応用触媒。 - 無機酸化物表面に結合する疎水性化合物は、有機シラン化合物、フッ素樹脂化合物の少なくともいずれかを含む疎水性化合物である請求項1記載の水−水素交換反応用触媒。
- 無機酸化物表面に結合する有機シラン化合物は、ビニル基、エポキシ基、スチリル基、メタクリル基、アクリル基、アミノ基、イソシアヌレ−ト基、ウレイド基、メルカプト基、スルフィド基、イソシアネ−ト基の少なくとも1種を有するシランカップリング剤である請求項2記載の水−水素交換反応用触媒。
- 無機酸化物表面に結合するフッ素樹脂化合物は、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン(PCTFE)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)、ポリフッ化ビニル(PVF)、テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、テトラフルオロエチレン−ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体(FEP)、エチレン−テトラフルオロエチレン共重合体(ETFE)、エチレン−クロロトリフルオロエチレン共重合体(ECTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロジオキソール共重合体(TFE/PDD)の少なくとも1種である請求項2記載の水−水素交換反応用触媒。

- 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれかに記載の水−水素交換反応用触媒の製造方法であって、下記の(a)〜(c)の工程を含み、
(a)担体となる無機酸化物と、疎水性化合物を含む溶液とを接触させることで、前記無機酸化物表面に疎水性化合物を結合させて疎水化処理する工程。
(b)疎水化処理した前記担体に、少なくとも白金化合物を含む金属化合物溶液を接触させ、少なくとも白金イオンを担持する担持工程。
(c)前記担持工程後の担体を熱処理して白金イオンを還元する熱処理工程。
前記(b)の担持工程における白金化合物溶液として白金の塩化物を使用し、
更に、前記(c)の熱処理工程は、還元性雰囲気中、200℃以上280℃以下の温度で0.5時間以上10時間以下、担体を加熱するものである水−水素交換反応用触媒の製造方法。 - 疎水性化合物は、機能性シラン剤、シリル化剤、シランカップリング剤、フッ素樹脂剤の少なくともいずれかよりなる請求項7記載の水−水素交換反応用触媒の製造方法。
