Description
(1) タンク内の液体の液位を検出する液位検出装置であって、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、接地電極に対向する第1の電極を有し、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、前記接地電極と対向し、前記第1の電極より前記タンクの底に向かって所定の長さだけ短い第2の電極であってその先端部が警告を要する前記タンク内の液位範囲と警告を要しない前記タンク内の液位範囲との境界に対応する警告液位の位置に配置された第2の電極を有し、前記第2の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記第1の検出部によって検出された静電容量と前記第2の検出部によって検出された静電容量との差を差分容量として算出し、前記差分容量が警告閾値より小さいか否かを判断することによって前記タンク内の液位が前記警告液位より低いか否かを判断する差分算出部と、
を備えること。
(2) タンク内の液体の液位を検出する液位検出装置であって、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、接地電極に対向する第1の電極を有し、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、前記接地電極と対向し、前記第1の電極より前記タンクの底に向かって所定の長さだけ短い第2の電極であってその先端部が警告を要する前記タンク内の液位範囲と警告を要しない前記タンク内の液位範囲との境界に対応する警告液位の位置に配置された第2の電極を有し、前記第2の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記タンクの底に配置され、前記液体の誘電率を検出する誘電率検出部と、
前記第1の検出部によって検出された静電容量と前記第2の検出部によって検出された静電容量との差を差分容量として算出し、前記誘電率検出部によって検出された誘電率を用いて得られる、静電容量を液位に換算するための補正係数を用いて、前記差分容量を液位差に換算し、前記液位差が前記警告液位より小さいか否かを判断することによって前記タンク内の液位が前記警告液位より低いか否かを判断する差分算出部と、
を備えること。
(3) 上記(1)又は(2)の構成の液位検出装置であって、
前記差分容量が前記警告閾値より小さい場合、又は、前記液位差が前記警告液位より小さい場合、警告信号を出力すること。
(4) 上記(1)乃至(3)の何れか一つの構成の液位検出装置であって、
前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極はそれぞれ櫛歯状に形成され、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の距離が等しいこと。
ここで、C:静電容量、l:電極間距離、S:電極面積である。
h1A−Bは液位1で容量差C1A−Bを用いて算出された液位差である。h2A−Bは液位2で容量差C2A−Bを用いて算出された液位差である。

Claims (4)
- タンク内の液体の液位を検出する液位検出装置であって、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、接地電極に対向する第1の電極を有し、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、前記接地電極と対向し、前記第1の電極より前記タンクの底に向かって所定の長さだけ短い第2の電極であってその先端部が警告を要する前記タンク内の液位範囲と警告を要しない前記タンク内の液位範囲との境界に対応する警告液位の位置に配置された第2の電極を有し、前記第2の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記第1の検出部によって検出された静電容量と前記第2の検出部によって検出された静電容量との差を差分容量として算出し、前記差分容量が警告閾値より小さいか否かを判断することによって前記タンク内の液位が前記警告液位より低いか否かを判断する差分算出部と、
を備えることを特徴とする液位検出装置。 - タンク内の液体の液位を検出する液位検出装置であって、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、接地電極に対向する第1の電極を有し、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記タンク内の鉛直方向に延び、前記接地電極と対向し、前記第1の電極より前記タンクの底に向かって所定の長さだけ短い第2の電極であってその先端部が警告を要する前記タンク内の液位範囲と警告を要しない前記タンク内の液位範囲との境界に対応する警告液位の位置に配置された第2の電極を有し、前記第2の電極及び前記接地電極間の静電容量を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記タンクの底に配置され、前記液体の誘電率を検出する誘電率検出部と、
前記第1の検出部によって検出された静電容量と前記第2の検出部によって検出された静電容量との差を差分容量として算出し、前記誘電率検出部によって検出された誘電率を用いて得られる、静電容量を液位に換算するための補正係数を用いて、前記差分容量を液位差に換算し、前記液位差が前記警告液位より小さいか否かを判断することによって前記タンク内の液位が前記警告液位より低いか否かを判断する差分算出部と、
を備えることを特徴とする液位検出装置。 - 前記差分容量が前記警告閾値より小さい場合、又は、前記液位差が前記警告液位より小さい場合、警告信号を出力することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の液位検出装置。
- 前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極はそれぞれ櫛歯状に形成され、前記第1の電極及び前記接地電極間の距離が等しいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか一項に記載の液位検出装置。
