SiO2・Al2O3・MgOからなる平均粒径9.5μm、平均厚さ0.7μmでアスペクト比13.6のフレーク状硝子粉(日本板硝子株式会社製のファインフレークMTD010FYX)17gをSUSボール(直径1.6mm)553gとともに振動ボールミル(HEIKO社製のTI−100)に投入し、振幅6.4mm、振動数1493vpmで10分間破砕処理を行って、フレーク状硝子粉を破砕した。得られたフレーク状硝子粉0.3gをイソプロピルアルコール30mLに添加し、出力50Wの超音波洗浄器により5分間分散させた後、マイクロトラック粒度分布測定装置(日機装株式会社製のHoneywell 9320X−100)を用いて、レーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定したところ、4.7μmであった。なお、フレーク状硝子粉は、長手軸方向が優先的に破砕されると考えられるため、平均厚さが変わらないと仮定すると、得られたフレーク状硝子粉のアスペクト比は6.7であった。
振動ボールミルへのフレーク状硝子粉の投入量を10gとし、破砕処理時間を2分間とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により得られたフレーク状硝子粉および銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定してアスペクト比を算出し、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度および強熱減量値を算出した。
振動ボールミルへのフレーク状硝子粉の投入量を12gとし、破砕処理時間を70分間とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により得られたフレーク状硝子粉および銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定してアスペクト比を算出し、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
振動ボールミルへのフレーク状硝子粉の投入量を10gとし、破砕処理時間を7分間とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法によりフレーク状硝子粉を得るとともに、表面処理剤として15.5質量%のステアリン酸のエマルション水溶液0.74gを使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉を得た。このようにして得られたフレーク状硝子粉および銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定してアスペクト比を算出し、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
破砕処理を行わなかった以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により得られた銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
フレーク状硝子粉の代わりに、SiO2・B2O3・CaO・Al2O3からなる平均粒径4.5μmの球状の粒子形状の硝子粉(ポッターズ・バロティーニ社製のEMB−10)を使用し、破砕処理を行わなかった以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により得られた銀被覆球状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、銀被覆球状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
振動ボールミルへのフレーク状硝子粉の投入量を11gとし、破砕処理時間を10分間とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法によりフレーク状硝子粉を得るとともに、表面処理剤を使用しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉を得た。このようにして得られたフレーク状硝子粉および銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定してアスペクト比を算出し、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
振動ボールミルへのフレーク状硝子粉の投入量を10gとし、破砕処理時間を6分間とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法によりフレーク状硝子粉を得るとともに、得られたフレーク状硝子粉16gを使用して銀の析出および被覆のための原材料の重量を1/10倍とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により、5質量%の銀を含む銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉を得た。このようにして得られたフレーク状硝子粉および銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉について、実施例1と同様の方法により、フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50を測定してアスペクト比を算出し、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50およびBET比表面積を測定するとともに、タップ密度を算出した。
Claims (6)
- フレーク状硝子粉を破砕する破砕工程と、この破砕したフレーク状硝子粉を銀イオン含有溶液中に浸漬し、この浸漬後の溶液に錯化剤またはアルカリと還元剤を添加して析出した銀でフレーク状硝子粉の表面を銀で被覆する被覆工程と、還元剤の添加前、添加中または添加後の溶液に表面処理剤を添加して銀で被覆されたフレーク状硝子粉の表面に表面処理剤を付着させる付着工程とを備えたことを特徴とする、銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
- 前記銀イオン含有溶液が硝酸銀水溶液であり、この硝酸銀水溶液への錯化剤またはアルカリと還元剤の添加が、硝酸銀水溶液に前記錯化剤または前記アルカリを添加して得られた銀アンミン錯塩水溶液に前記還元剤を添加することによって行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
- 前記破砕工程の後、前記被覆工程の前に、前記フレーク状硝子粉を錫イオン含有溶液中に浸漬して、前記フレーク状硝子粉の表面に錫イオンを被着させる被着工程を備えたことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
- 前記表面処理剤が、脂肪酸、脂肪酸塩、界面活性剤、有機金属化合物、キレート剤および高分子分散剤からなる群から選ばれる1種以上であり、前記表面処理剤の添加量が、前記還元剤の添加前、添加中または添加後の溶液中の銀に対して0.01〜1質量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
- 前記破砕工程により破砕したフレーク状硝子粉のアスペクト比が3以上であり且つレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50が1〜8μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
- 前記破砕工程により破砕したフレーク状硝子粉のレーザー回折法による平均粒径D50が3〜7μmであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の銀被覆フレーク状硝子粉の製造方法。
