Claims (3)
- 電解質膜の両側に一対の電極を設けた電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層され、反応ガスを積層方向に流通させる反応ガス入口連通孔及び反応ガス出口連通孔と、電極面に沿って反応ガスを供給するとともに、前記反応ガス入口連通孔から前記反応ガス出口連通孔に連なる反応ガス流路が形成される燃料電池であって、
前記セパレータには、前記反応ガス入口連通孔から前記反応ガス流路に向かって、複数本の流路溝を有する入口連結流路、及び前記反応ガスの流れを揃える入口バッファ部が設けられる一方、前記反応ガス流路から前記反応ガス出口連通孔に向かって、前記反応ガスの流れを揃える出口バッファ部、及び複数本の流路溝を有する出口連結流路が設けられ、
前記入口バッファ部の圧損は、前記反応ガス流路の圧損よりも小さく設定されるとともに、前記出口バッファ部の圧損は、前記出口連結流路の圧損よりも小さく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記反応ガス入口連通孔と前記入口連結流路との間には、前記反応ガスの流れが不連続となる入口側間隙部位を介して、反応ガス流れ方向に沿って反応ガス導入流路が設けられるとともに、
前記入口側間隙部位の圧損は、前記入口連結流路の圧損よりも小さく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記反応ガス出口連通孔と前記出口連結流路との間には、前記反応ガスの流れが不連続となる出口側間隙部位を介して、反応ガス流れ方向に沿って反応ガス導出流路が設けられるとともに、
前記出口側間隙部位の圧損は、前記反応ガス導出流路の圧損よりも小さく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
