Claims (3)
- 電解質膜の両側に一対の電極を設けた電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層され、電極面に沿って反応ガスを供給する反応ガス流路が形成されるとともに、前記反応ガス流路の入口側に連通する入口バッファ部と、前記反応ガス流路の出口側に連通する出口バッファ部とが設けられる燃料電池であって、
前記反応ガス流路は、前記入口側から前記出口側にわたって同一の深さを有する一方、
少なくとも前記入口バッファ部の一部の深さは、少なくとも前記出口バッファ部の一部の深さよりも大きく設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記入口バッファ部に隣接して前記反応ガスを前記セパレータの積層方向に流通させる反応ガス入口連通孔が設けられるとともに、
前記入口バッファ部の深溝領域は、前記反応ガス入口連通孔から離間するのに従って幅狭に構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記出口バッファ部に隣接して前記反応ガスを前記セパレータの積層方向に流通させる反応ガス出口連通孔が設けられるとともに、
前記出口バッファ部の浅溝領域は、前記反応ガス出口連通孔から離間するのに従って幅狭に構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
