Claims (2)
- モータ(12)を駆動源としてシフトレンジを複数のレンジ間で切り換えるレンジ切換機構(11)と、前記レンジ切換機構(11)が各レンジの位置に切り換えられたときに係合部(23a)がレンジ保持凹部(24)に嵌まり込むことで前記レンジ切換機構(11)を各レンジの位置に保持するディテント機構(14)と、前記モータ(12)の回転に同期してパルス信号を出力するエンコーダ(46)と、目標レンジが切り換えられたときに前記エンコーダ(46)の出力信号のカウント値に基づいて前記モータ(12)の通電相を順次切り換えることで前記モータ(12)を前記目標レンジに相当する目標回転位置に向かって回転駆動するフィードバック制御(以下「F/B制御」と表記する)を実行し、該F/B制御により前記モータ(12)が前記目標回転位置を含む所定の停止範囲内まで回転したときに前記F/B制御を終了して前記モータ(12)の通電を停止する制御手段(41)とを備えたレンジ切換装置において、
前記目標回転位置を含む所定の停止範囲(以下「モータ(12)の停止範囲」という)は、前記モータ(12)の通電停止状態で前記ディテント機構(14)の係合部(23a)が前記レンジ保持凹部(24)内に滑り落ちる範囲である、前記ディテント機構(14)の吸い込み範囲よりも広くなっていて、前記モータ(12)の停止範囲の一部が前記ディテント機構(14)の吸い込み範囲の外側にも設定され、
前記制御手段(41)は、前記F/B制御を終了して前記モータ(12)の通電を停止してから所定期間が経過しても前記モータ(12)が前記目標回転位置まで回転していない場合に、オープンループ制御で前記モータ(12)の通電相を順次切り換えて前記モータ(12)を回転駆動するオープン駆動を実行して前記モータ(12)を前記目標回転位置まで回転させることを特徴とするレンジ切換装置。 - 前記制御手段(41)は、前記オープン駆動により前記モータ(12)の通電相を切り換える毎に前記モータ(12)が前記目標回転位置まで回転したか否かを判定し、前記モータ(12)が前記目標回転位置まで回転したと判定したときに前記オープン駆動を終了して前記モータ(12)の通電を停止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレンジ切換装置。
