Claims (4)
- 筒状のアウターシェルと当該アウターシェル内に出入り自在なピストンロッドとを備え上記アウターシェルに対する上記ピストンロッドの軸方向の相対移動に対して当該相対移動を抑制する減衰力を発生する緩衝器本体と、上記ピストンロッドに連結されて内部に上記アウターシェルの侵入を許容する筒状のダストカバーとを備えた緩衝器において、
上記ダストカバーは、上記緩衝器本体が最伸長状態にある際に、上記アウターシェルの上記ピストンロッド側端部を覆う長さに設定され、
上記ピストンロッドの外周は、筒状のベローズで覆われており、
上記ベローズは、一端が上記アウターシェルに装着され且つ他端が常時上記ダストカバー内に配置されるとともに、上記ベローズの上記一端よりも上記他端の方が大径とされていて、上記他端に向けて徐々に拡径されていることを特徴とする緩衝器。 - 上記ベローズの上記他端の外周全周を上記ダストカバーの内周に摺接させたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記アウターシェルのピストンロッド側端には、筒状のシールケースが設けられており、当該シールケースは、上記アウターチューブのピストンロッド側端の内周に装着される筒状の大径部と、当該大径部のピストンロッド側端から内方へ向けて突出するドーナツ板状のフランジ部と、当該フランジ部の内周から立ち上がる筒状の小径部と、当該小径部の外周に設けた環状のストッパを備え、上記ベローズは、一端に上記小径部の外周に嵌合する筒状の嵌合部を備え、上記ベローズは、上記嵌合部が上記フランジ部と上記ストッパとで挟持された状態で上記アウターシェルに固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記ベローズは、上記一端に上記アウターシェルのピストンロッド側端内周に挿入される環状の固定部を備え、上記アウターシェルのピストンロッド側端には、内方へ折り曲がった折曲部が設けられており、上記ベローズは、上記折曲部に上記固定部が把持された状態で上記アウターシェルに固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の緩衝器。
