Description

c.車両内面の一部を形成するよう動作可能に適合(即ち、大きさとデザイン)されたカバーと、を含む車両室内照明用の照明装置に向けられている。
a.少なくとも1つの光源と、
b.少なくとも1つの光入力面を有していて、この光入力面を介して光源からの光を供給され得る前側光導波路と、光配向面と、この光配向面に対向する光入力面とを含む少なくとも1つの光管理装置であって、光出力面は光抽出層を有し、光抽出層は光出口面を有するとともに、光導波路から光出口面を介して供給される光を抽出する埋込み型反射ファセットを含む、光管理装置と、
c.車両の内面又は外面の一部を形成するよう有効に適合されたカバー、を含む車両の内部又は外部照明用の照明装置に向けられている。
a.少なくとも1つの光源と、
b.少なくとも1つの光入力面を有していて、この光入力面を介して光源からの光を供給され得る前側光導波路と、光配向面と、この光配向面に対向する光入力面とを含む少なくとも1つの光管理装置であって、光出力面は光抽出層を有し、光抽出層は光出口面を有するとともに、光導波路から光出口面を介して供給される光を抽出する埋込み型反射ファセットを含む、第1の光管理装置と、
c.第2の光管理装置、を含む車両のグレイジングに向けられている。
光アセンブリは、以下のように作製された。光源LL1は7.6cm×12.7cm×6mmの開口プラスチックハウジングの一端に固定される。乳白色ポリエステルフィルムが、ハウジングの底面に配置される。光導波路LG1は、LED及び白色ポリエステルシートに面する光再配向側に隣接する近位縁に配置される。商品名「レキセインXL4251ボトムディフューザフィルム0.005ホワイトWH5A201X(Lexan XL4251 Bottom Diffuser Film 0.005 White WH5A201X)」の下でコネチカット州フェアフィールドのGEポリマーシェイプ社フィルム事業部(GE Polymershapes Film Division, Fairfield, Connecticut)から市販の127マイクロメートル(5ミル)×7.6cm×12.7cmのディフューザフィルムが、光導波路の上に配置される。次に、商品名「ビキュイティBEF(Vikuiti BEF)」(BEF)で3M社から市販の互いに直交する2枚の輝度強化フィルムが、ディフューザフィルム上に配置される。型番6214でカリフォルニア州パロアルトのヒューレットパッカード社(Hewlett Packard Company, Palo Alto, California)から市販のミリアンペア電流供給器を使用してLEDが点灯される。
LL1をLL2に置き換え、ミネソタ州セントポールの3M社から商品名「ESR」で市販されている高度鏡面反射フィルムをBEFの最上層に配置して実施例1が繰り返された。LED配列を消灯すると、この光装置は反射性のメタリック風又は鏡のような外観を有した。LED配列を点灯すると、反射性のメタリックな面の代わりに殆ど一様な赤色発光が観察された。
ドイツ、バンドラッハのソーラーファッション社(Solar Fashion GmbH, Bandlach, Germany)から取得した商品名「タンスルー(Tan Thru)」の粗織りプリント布地をBEFの最上層に配置して実施例1が繰り返された。LED配列の消灯時には、光装置の表面は布地のプリント模様を保持した。LED配列が点灯されると、布地面の代わりに殆ど一様な白色発光が観察された。
実施例1のディフューザフィルムと2枚のBEFフィルムを取り除いて、ミネソタ州セントポールの3M社から商品名「DBEF」として市販されている反射偏光子フィルム1枚を光導波路の上に直接配置して実施例1が繰り返された。LED配列が消灯されると、この光装置は光沢のある白色の外観になった。LED配列が点灯されると、殆ど一様な白色発光だけが発光され、光源は全く観察されなかった。
光透過膜は、米国特許番号5,353,154(ルッツら(Lutz et al.))及び5,684,633(ルッツら)に記載の方法によって作製される反射性フィルムから構成されてよい。膜はまた、ゆるい粗織りの布地、又は媒体を貫通する微小な穴を(全体又は一部に)穿孔することによって光透過性にしてもよい。技術には、レーザアブレーション、フレームアブレーション、化学エッチング、若しくは機械的、レーザー又は超音波法による穿孔が含まれる。
Claims (2)
- 少なくとも1つの光源と、
少なくとも1つの光入力面を有していて、該光入力面を介して前記光源からの光を供給され得る前側光導波路と、光配向面と、該光配向面に対向する光出力面とを含む第1の光管理装置であって、前記光出力面はその上に光抽出層を有し、前記光抽出層は光出口面を有するとともに、前記光導波路から前記光出力面を介して供給される光を抽出する埋込み型反射ファセットを含む、第1の光管理装置と、
前記第1の光管理装置に隣接して配置された第2の光管理装置であって、光制御フィルム、輝度強化フィルム、ディフューザフィルム、反射フィルム、反射偏光子輝度強化フィルム又は旋回フィルムを含む第2の光管理装置と、
車両内面の一部を形成するカバーであって、前記第2の光管理装置に隣接して配置され、かつミラーフィルム、布地材料、織物材料、皮革材料、模造木目調素材、及び皮革からなる群から選択される材料で作製されるカバーと、を含む車両室内照明用の照明装置。 - 少なくとも1つの光源と、
少なくとも1つの光入力面を有していて、該光入力面を介して前記光源からの光を供給され得る光導波路と、光配向面と、該光配向面に対向する光出力面とを含む第1の光管理装置であって、前記光出力面はその上に光抽出層を有し、前記光抽出層は光出口面を有するとともに、前記光導波路から前記光出力面を介して供給される光を抽出する埋込み型反射ファセットを含む、第1の光管理装置と、
前記第1の光管理装置に隣接して配置された第2の光管理装置であって、光制御フィルム、輝度強化フィルム、ディフューザフィルム、反射フィルム、反射偏光子輝度強化フィルム又は旋回フィルムを含む第2の光管理装置と、
車両内面または外面の一部を形成するカバーであって、前記第2の光管理装置に隣接して配置され、かつミラーフィルム、布地材料、織物材料、皮革材料、模造木目調素材、及び皮革からなる群から選択される材料で作製されるカバーと、を含む車両の内部又は外部照明用の照明装置。
