Description
本願は、米国特許法119条(e)に基づいて、いずれもその全容を本明細書に援用する2006年12月15日出願の発明の名称が「硬化性多成分材料の混合及び吐出のための装置及び方法」(DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MIXING AND DISPENSING CURABLE MULTI-COMPONENT MATERIALS)である米国仮特許出願第60/870,264号、及び、2007年9月19日出願の発明の名称が「硬化性多成分材料の混合及び吐出」(MIXING AND DISPENSING CURABLE MULTI-COMPONENT MATERIALS)である米国仮特許出願第60/973624号の利益を主張するものである。
本発明は一般的には混合材料の混合及び吐出の分野に関する。より詳細には本発明は、各成分の体積比が大きく異なる、粘度が大きく異なる、粘度が極端である、などの多成分材料を混合及び吐出するための装置及び方法に関する。
多成分材料として混合される各成分の粘度が関係するような場合、すなわち、実際の粘度が求められるか、粘度比が関係するような状況では、Brookfieldデジタルレオメーター型番DV−IIIの操作使用説明書No.M/91−201−I297(ブルックフィールド・エンジニアリング・ラボラトリーズ(Brookfield Engineering Labs, Inc.)社、マサチューセッツ州、ストートン所在)に記載の方法を用いて各成分の粘度を求めてもよい。試験用に選択されるスピンドル及び剪断速度は予想される粘度範囲によって決まる。高粘度の材料(例、本発明に関連して使用されるボディーフィラー成分の一部のもののような、粘度が50Pa・s(50,000センチポアズ)〜10,000Pa・s(10,000,000センチポアズ)である材料)では、HelipathTバースピンドルを使用する。その際、スピンドルは装置における回転速度が毎分0.5回転〜毎分20回転でトルク範囲が10%〜100%となるように選択される。)本発明に関連して用いられる特定の例示的なボディーフィラー成分では、粘度の値をT−Cスピンドルを用いて毎分5回転で計測する。低粘度の材料(例、本発明に関連して使用される硬化剤の一部のもののような、粘度が50Pa・s(50,000センチポアズ)以下である材料)では、HA/HBスピンドルシリーズを使用して粘度の測定値を得る。粘度の値はすべて室温、すなわち摂氏約20℃で得たものである。
Claims (1)
- 移動式混合ディスペンサーにおいて使用するためのカートリッジ装置であって、
ハウジング内に配置された第1の空洞と、前記ハウジング内に配置された第2の空洞とを有するカートリッジハウジングであって、前記第1の空洞及び前記第2の空洞は、前記カートリッジハウジングの基部から、該基部から遠方に位置する吐出端に向かって、それぞれ第1の軸線及び第2の軸線に沿って延在する、カートリッジハウジングと、
前記第1の空洞内に配置され、硬化性多成分材料の第1の成分を収容する第1の容器と、
前記第2の空洞内に配置され、前記硬化性多成分材料の第2の成分を収容する第2の容器と、
前記第1の軸線及び前記第2の軸線に平行な駆動軸線に沿って前記カートリッジハウジングを貫通する孔であるミキサー駆動通路と、
前記ミキサー駆動通路内に回転可能に受容された駆動軸であって、前記カートリッジハウジングの基部にて終端する一端から、前記カートリッジハウジングの吐出端にて終端する他端まで延在する、駆動軸と、を備える、カートリッジ装置。
