Description
本発明は、上記実施形態に限られない。例えば、変形推定部202は、加速度センサ21の検出結果を用いず、加速度センサ11〜19の検出結果に基づいて車体の変形を算出しても良い。例えば、変形推定部202は、単純に加速度センサ11〜19の検出結果を2回積分し、変位を算出して車体の変形量(空間減少量)を算出しても良い。これによって、よりシンプルに乗員の傷害レベルを推定できる。ただし、本実施形態のほうが推定精度の面で優れている。

Claims (6)
- 乗員が在席しているシート(51〜55)を特定する乗員在席検出部(201)と、
車体のうち前記シートそれぞれの周囲である在席空間を囲むように配置された加速度センサ(11〜19、21)と、
前記加速度センサの検出結果に基づいて前記車体の前記在席空間それぞれの変形を推定する変形推定部(202)と、
前記乗員在席検出部の特定結果と前記変形推定部の推定結果に基づいて、前記在席空間毎の乗員の傷害レベルを推定する傷害推定部(203)と、
を備える乗員傷害レベル推定装置。 - 前記傷害推定部が傷害レベルを推定した場合に所定機関に事故情報を通報する無線通信部(9)を備える請求項1に記載の乗員傷害レベル推定装置。
- 前記乗員在席検出部は、前記シートに配置されたシートベルトの着用の有無を検出する請求項1又は2に記載の乗員傷害レベル推定装置。
- 前記乗員在席検出部は、前記シートにチャイルドシートが設置されたか否かを検出する請求項3に記載の乗員傷害レベル推定装置。
- 前記加速度センサは、前記シートに対応する在席空間(A1〜A5)を当該シートの周囲で区画する車両側部(41、44、45、49)、車両前部(42、43)、又は車両後部(46、47、48)に配置される請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の乗員傷害レベル推定装置。
- 前記車体の中央部に配置されたサブ加速度センサ(21)を備え、
前記変形推定部は、前記加速度センサと前記サブ加速度センサの検出結果に基づいて前記車体の変形を推定する請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の乗員傷害レベル推定装置。
