Description
中空部または内部空間が形成され、これらの場所には、第2PCMが収容される。第2PCMは常温では液体の状態であるため、融解および凝固温度が高い。第2PCMは水または水混合液でもよく、この第2PCMを好ましくは密閉可能な袋または柔軟性を有する容器に充填し、これを上記した底部、頂部および側部の中空部に配置する。当然ながら、第2PCMを直接それぞれの中空部に充填することも可能だが、袋などの容器を用いることによって漏れる危険性を軽減または回避することができる。
本容器は、上述のとおり輸送コンテナ等の内部に設置することを目的としており、その内部には感温性の輸送物を収納する。
Claims (7)
- 感温性または温度依存性の物品を収納して輸送するための密閉式輸送コンテナ内を、ドライアイスを冷媒に用いるか、融解、昇華または蒸発温度が低温または極低温であるドライアイスに類する第1相変化物質を冷媒に用いて所望温度に保冷する方法において、底部と頂部と側部を有する容器内に、ドライアイスまたは第1相変化物質を収め、容器全体が冷却要素を構成する保冷容器を、前記輸送コンテナ内に配置し、容器全体が冷却要素である前記保冷容器の頂部(2)および底部(1)を空間(4,5)が内在する二重構造とし、相転移温度が前記輸送コンテナ内で所望される温度に適応して、しかもその相転移温度がドライアイスまたは第1相変化物質のそれよりも高い第2相変化物質を、前記輸送コンテナ内の所望温度近くに凝固点および融解点を有する物質から選択し、それを前記空間(4,5)に収めることで、前記保冷容器内のドライアイスまたは第1相変化物質の少なくとも一部が、第2相変化物質で囲まれ、該第2相変化物質は、最初に液体状態にある水混合液であり、これにより、第1相変化物質は、その融解、昇華または蒸発の結果生じる冷気によって第2相変化物質を固体に変化させ、そして輸送コンテナ内部の熱が第2相変化物質を液体に徐々に変化させることを特徴とする前記の保冷方法。
- 前記保冷容器の頂部(2)が、容器の蓋を構成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記保冷容器の側部(3)に、第2相変化物質が収まる空間(6)を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記輸送コンテナに物品を積載する際に、コンテナ内部の上方に配置された前記保冷容器内に、ドライアイスまたは第1相変化物質と、第2相変化物質を収めることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3記載の方法。
- 第2相変化物質である水混合液を、液相状態で柔軟性のある袋に密封し、これを保冷容器の底部(1)及び頂部(2)に内在する空間(4)及び(5)に挿入し、各空間を袋に詰めた第2相変化物質で満たすことを特徴とする請求項1から4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第2相変化物質である水混合液を、液相状態で柔軟性のある袋に密封し、これを保冷容器の底部(1)、頂部(2)及び側部(3)に内在する空間(4)、(5)及び(6)に挿入し、各空間を袋に詰めた第2相変化物質で満たすことを特徴とする請求項3または請求項3に従属する請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記保冷容器の底部(1)、頂部(2)および側部(3)で囲まれた領域すべてを第1相変化物質で満たすことを特徴とする請求項1から6のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
