Description
組成物調製方法:ポリエーテルイミドスルホンとポリ(フェニレンスルフィド)とを溶融混合して樹脂組成物を形成した。口径2.5インチの真空ベント付二軸押出機での押出によりブレンドを調製した。下表において、組成物はその合計質量に対する質量%で示す。押出機の温度は約300〜350℃に設定した。該ブレンドを、減圧下、約250rpmで流した。押出品は冷却・ペレット化し、125℃で乾燥させた。設定温度340〜350℃、金型温度125℃、サイクルタイム30秒で、試験サンプルを射出成形した。
ノボラック樹脂の有無における、線状ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)と分枝鎖ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)の影響を実証するために、これらの実施例を行った。上記の組成物調製手順に従って組成物を製造した。組成物を上記の方法で試験し、その結果を表2に示す。
主要樹脂としてポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)を有する組成物において、ノボラック樹脂の量を変えた場合の影響およびペンダントエポキシ基を有する代替のポリマー化合物の影響を実証するために、これらの実施例を行った。上記の組成物調製手順に従って組成物を製造した。組成物を上記の方法で試験し、その結果を表3に示す。
Claims (10)
- その合計質量に対して、i)60〜75質量%の線状ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)と、ii)15〜35質量%のポリエーテルイミドスルホンと、iii)1〜3質量%の、1分子当たり平均で2個以上のエポキシ基を有するノボラック樹脂と、含有を必須としない任意成分としての補強充填剤と、の相溶性ブレンドを含む組成物であって、これらの成分の合計質量は100質量%であり、前記組成物から製造された物品の引張強度は、ASTM D638に準拠して測定して70MPa以上であり、衝撃強度は、ASTM D256に準拠して測定して3kJ/m2以上であり、破断伸び率は、ASTM D638に準拠して測定して3%以上であることを特徴とする組成物。
- その合計質量に対して、i)60〜75質量%の線状ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)と、ii)15〜35質量%のポリエーテルイミドスルホンと、iii)1〜3質量%の、1分子当たり平均で2個以上のエポキシ基を有するノボラック樹脂と、含有を必須としない任意成分としての補強充填剤と、の溶融混合反応生成物を含む組成物であって、これらの成分の合計質量は100質量%であり、前記組成物から製造された物品の引張強度は、ASTM D638に準拠して測定して70MPa以上であり、衝撃強度は、ASTM D256に準拠して測定して3kJ/m2以上であり、破断伸び率は、ASTM D638に準拠して測定して3%以上であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 前記線状ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)は、線状ポリ(フェニレンスルフィド)であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記ノボラック樹脂は、1分子当たり平均で6個以上のエポキシ基を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記ノボラック樹脂は、1分子当たり平均で20個以上のエポキシ基を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の組成物。

- 前記組成物は、その合計質量に対して、20〜35質量%の前記ポリエーテルイミドスルホンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、その合計質量に対して、65〜75質量%の前記ポリ(アリーレンスルフィド)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれかに記載の組成物。
