Description
(外部充電可能な車両の構成)
図1は、本発明の実施の形態による車両の一例として示されるハイブリッド車両の全体ブロック図である。なお、以下ではハイブリッド車両を単に「車両」と呼ぶ場合もある。また、ハイブリッド車両は例示であり、蓄電装置を搭載し、車両外部から充電可能に構成された車両であれば、電気自動車や、燃料電池自動車などにも本発明は適用可能である。
図4は、インレットが収容されているインレット収容部の構成を示す図である。図4を参照して、インレット収容部254は、通常は充電リッド252に覆われて外部から見えないようになっている。インレット収容部254は、充電リッド252の内側に、インレット250と、充電インジケータ178と、リッド開閉を検知するスイッチ177とを収容する。
実施の形態1で説明した充電リッド開閉検知スイッチとタイマー解除スイッチとを兼用するスイッチが故障した場合について検討する。図5を参照して、故障の種類としては、第1群として、スイッチ177をECU170に接続するワイヤハーネス(wire harness)の断線または地絡、スイッチのOFF固着が考えられ、第2群として、ワイヤーハーネスの電源ショート、スイッチ177のON固着が考えられる。第1群の故障はECU170への入力信号はローレベルに固定となり、第2群の故障はECU170への入力信号はハイレベルに固定となる。
図10は、変形例1を説明するための図である。図10に示した構成は、図5に示した構成に加えて、発光ダイオード(LED)180と、LED180に直列に接続されたトランジスタ181とを含む。他の部分の構成は、図5と同様であるのでここでは説明は繰返さない。
図11は、スイッチの形状を変形する変形例2を説明するための図である。図11に示した構成は、図4のスイッチ177に比べてストロークの短いスイッチ177Aを設け、充電リッド252には、突起177Bを設ける点が図4と異なっている。他の部分については、図11は図4と同様な構成であるのでここでは説明は繰返さない。
実施の形態1では、リッド開閉検知スイッチをタイマー解除スイッチとして使用する例を説明した。この場合は、タイマーの時刻設定がされていると特に指定がなければ、タイマー充電が行なわれるように充電システムが設計または設定されている場合であった。
実施の形態1および2では、リッド開閉検知スイッチとタイマー解除スイッチまたはタイマー確定スイッチを兼用した例を説明した。実施の形態3では、リッドオープナースイッチとタイマー解除スイッチを兼用する例を説明する。
実施の形態4は、実施の形態2のリッド開閉検知スイッチに代えてリッドオープナースイッチをタイマー確定スイッチに兼用する場合について説明する。リッドオープナースイッチについては、図16、図17に示した構成は実施の形態3と同様であるので、説明は繰返さない。

- 車載の蓄電装置に対する充電開始時刻が設定されている場合、設定された時間まで充電を行なわずに待機するタイマー充電を行なう車両の充電装置であって、
前記蓄電装置に車両外部から電力を受けて充電を行なう充電器と、
充電リッドの開閉に関連するスイッチの状態に基づいて、前記タイマー充電を行なうか、前記タイマー充電を行なわずに即時充電を行なうかを決定し、前記充電器を制御する制御部とを備え、
前記充電リッドの内側には、充電ケーブルを接続するインレットが収容され、
前記制御部は、前記インレットに前記充電ケーブルが接続されていない場合には、前記スイッチを前記充電リッドの開閉状態検知スイッチとして使用し、前記インレットに前記充電ケーブルが接続されている場合には、前記スイッチをタイマー解除スイッチまたはタイマー確定スイッチとして使用する、車両の充電装置。 - 前記スイッチは、前記充電リッドが閉状態では第1の信号を出力し、前記充電リッドが開状態では、前記第1の信号および前記第1の信号とは異なる第2の信号をユーザの操作に応じて出力可能に構成され、

前記制御部は、前記充電リッドが開状態にある場合に前記スイッチが操作されなかったとき、前記タイマー充電の設定を無効とし即時充電を実行するように前記充電器を制御し、前記充電リッドが開状態にある場合に初回に前記スイッチが操作されたとき、前記タイマー充電の設定を有効とし前記タイマー充電を実行するように前記充電器を制御する、請求項1に記載の車両の充電装置。
