Claims (5)
- 第1の鋼板を切断することにより上側部材を形成する工程と、
第2の鋼板を切断することにより補強部材を形成する工程と、
前記第1及び第2の鋼板より炭素含有量が少ない第3の鋼板を切断することにより下側部材を形成する工程と、
前記上側部材と前記下側部材とを部分的に重ね合わせ、前記補強部材を前記上側部材に重ね合わせ、前記上側部材と前記下側部材との第1の重ね合わせ部と前記補強部材を前記上側部材との第2の重ね合わせ部をそれぞれスポット溶接することにより、前記上側部材、前記補強部材及び前記下側部材からなるブランク材を形成する工程と、
前記ブランク材を熱間プレス成形することにより、前記ブランク材でピラーレインフォースメントを形成する工程と、を備え、
前記熱間プレス成形により前記下側部材の強度を前記上側部材及び前記補強部材の強度より小さくしたことを特徴とする車体側部構造の製造方法。 - 熱間プレス成形された前記ブランク材を整形し、または前記ブランク材に部品取り付け用の穴を形成する工程を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車体側部構造の製造方法。
- 前記上側部材に対し前記下側部材が車幅方向外側から重ね合わされて前記第1の重ね合わせ部が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車体側部構造の製造方法。
- 第1の鋼材からなる上側部材と、
前記第1の鋼材からなり前記上側部材に重ね合わされた補強部材と、
前記上側部材と部分的に重ね合わされ、前記第1の鋼材より炭素含有量が少ない第2の鋼材からなる下側部材と、
前記上側部材と前記下補強部材の第1の重ね合わせ部に形成された第1のスポット溶接部と、
前記上側部材と前記下側部材の第2の重ね合わせ部に形成された第2のスポット溶接部と、を備え、前記上側部材、前記補強部材及び前記下側部材でピラーレインフォースメントが構成され、前記第1及び第2のスポット溶接部を介して接合された前記上側部材、前記補強部材及び前記下側部材が同時に熱間プレス成形されることで、前記下側部材の強度を前記上側部材及び前記補強部材の強度より小さくしたことを特徴とする車体側部構造。 - 前記上側部材に対し前記下側部材が車幅方向外側から重ね合わされて前記第1の重ね合わせ部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車体側部構造。
