の関係を満たすように、貫通孔66a,66bのピッチP1が定められている。このような構成とした場合図7に示すように、制動初期時等の低制動トルク発生時には回出側に配置されたスライドピン24bのみに貫通孔66bの内壁が接触し、スライドピン24bのみに制動トルクが負荷されることとなる。一方、高い制動トルクが生じた場合には、回出側に配置されたスライドピン24bが制動トルク負荷方向に撓み、回入側に配置されたスライドピン24aに貫通孔66aの内壁が接触することとなり、一対のスライドピン24a,24bに制動トルクが分散されることとなる。このように、制動トルクの高低に応じて制動トルクを分散させることを可能にすることで、スライドピン24の大径化等、強度補強を行う必要性がなくなり、スライドピンの大径化に伴う重量増加等を抑制することができる。

Claims (4)
- プレッシャプレートに形成された貫通孔を介してディスクブレーキ装置を構成する一対のスライドピンに支承されるブレーキパッドを前記スライドピンに付勢させるパッドクリップの組付け構造であって、
前記パッドクリップは、前記ブレーキパッドを構成するプレッシャプレートを挟持する支持部と、前記プレッシャプレートの板面に沿って配置されるベース部と、前記スライドピンに当接し、前記支持部の配置方向への付勢力を生じさせるバネ部とを有し、
前記ブレーキパッドには前記パッドクリップの支持部を取り付けるための辺である座を設け、
前記貫通孔を構成する円弧部の中心を通り、ロータ中心と前記ブレーキパッドのモーメント中心とを結ぶロータ半径方向に沿った第1の直線と、前記中心を通り前記座に対して垂直に交わる第2の直線との成す角の設定により、前記パッドクリップによる付勢力におけるロータ半径方向とロータ円周方向の分力の割合を変化させる構成としたことを特徴とするパッドクリップの組付け構造。 - 前記第1の直線と前記第2の直線との成す角が45度未満となるように前記座の角度を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパッドクリップの組付け構造。
- 前記第1の直線と前記第2の直線との成す角が45度となるように前記座の角度を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパッドクリップの組付け構造。
- 前記第1の直線と前記第2の直線との成す角が45度よりも大きくなるように前記座の角度を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパッドクリップの組付け構造。
