Description

実施例1〜4は、被覆裏材上に静電的に適用された研磨粒子の2つの層を逆にすることにより得られる効果を示す。実施例1〜4は、裏材を巻き出し及び巻き戻しする実験室規模の静電被覆装置、下引き接着組成物を裏材に塗布するためのナイフコーター、粒子供給コンベヤーベルト、及び湿度制御された静電被覆チャンバを使用して作製された。研磨粒子の2つの別個の層が、独立に制御された速度で、粒子コンベヤーベルト上に順に重ねて堆積され得るように、粒子供給コンベヤーベルトシステムは、振動フィーダーを含む粒子供給機の位置が2箇所になるように変更された。各実施例に関し、裏材は、巻き出し位置から巻き戻し位置まで装置に通された。MCは、ナイフコーターにより裏材に塗布された。第1の研磨粒子が第1の振動フィーダーに供給され、第2の研磨粒子が第2の振動フィーダーに供給された状態で、粒子供給ベルトを所定の速度まで作動させた。第1及び第2の粒子供給機が作動されて、研磨粒子の2つの別個の層が粒子供給ベルト上に順に重ねて堆積され、粒子供給ベルトは、この2つの粒子の層を、同時に静電コーターまで送った。得られた研磨材で被覆された裏材は、被覆研磨材物品を形成するために従来の手段で更に処理された。研磨物品の研磨層を視覚的に比較し、図3〜6に写真で記録した。
Claims (3)
- 静電界を通って移動するコンベヤーベルトと、
下引き接着剤層を裏材上に適用するコーターと、
前記下引き接着剤層によって被覆された前記裏材を、前記コンベヤーベルトの上方の前記静電界を通して案内するウェブ経路と、ここで、前記裏材上の前記下引き接着剤層は、前記コンベヤーベルトに面して位置付けられる、
前記コンベヤーベルト上の第2の粒子層の上に第1の粒子層を適用する第1の粒子供給機と、
前記コンベヤーベルトの移動方向に関して前記第1の粒子供給機の手前に位置する、前記コンベヤーベルトの上に前記第2の粒子層を適用する第2の粒子供給機と、を含むシステムであって、
前記コンベヤーベルトが、前記第1の粒子層及び前記第2の粒子層を、前記静電界を通して移動させて、前記第1の粒子層の中の第1の粒子及び前記第2の粒子層の中の第2の粒子の少なくともいくつかを、前記コンベヤーベルトから前記裏材へと移す、システム。 - 前記第1の粒子層が、少なくとも1つの特性において前記第2の粒子層と異なる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の粒子供給機が、重量で、所定の形状を有する成形研磨粒子の大部分を適用し、前記第2の粒子供給機が、重量で破砕研磨粒子の大部分を適用する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
