Description

(a)耐カール性外側保護層;
(b)生分解性ポリマー層;

(e)接着性結着層(adhesive tie layer);および
(f)紙基材;
を順次含む多層物品を提供する。
(a)生分解性ポリマー層;
(b)任意選択の中間接着性プライマー層;および
(c)1日当たり約0.5g/645.16cm2(100in2)から1日当たり約45g/645.16cm2(100in2)の水蒸気透過率を有する吸湿防止層であって、ナノメートルスケールのクレーと混合された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む前記吸湿防止層;
を順次含む多層フィルムを提供する。
(a)生分解性ポリマー層;
(b)任意選択の中間接着性プライマー層;および
(c)1日当たり約0.5g/645.16cm2(100in2)から1日当たり約45g/645.16cm2(100in2)の水蒸気透過率を有する吸湿防止層;
を順次含む多層フィルムから形成されたパッケージであって、前記吸湿防止層がそれ自体の上に重ねられ、少なくとも部分的にシールされてパッケージを形成する、前記パッケージを提供する。
パッケージを形成するように多層フィルムを配置する工程とを含む、パッケージを製造する方法であって、
前記吸湿防止層は、それ自体の上に重ねられ、シールされて前記パッケージを形成し、前記吸湿防止層が、前記パッケージの最内層を構成する、前記方法を提供する。
本発明の実施例1〜3および比較例1〜3では、PVdCコーティング(ケンタッキー州OwensboroのOwensboro Specialty Polymers,LLCから市販されているDARAN(登録商標)8730)を、CAPRAN(登録商標)EMBLEM(商標)2500ポリアミドフィルム(ニュージャージ州MorristownのHoneywell International Incから市販されている)およびEVLON(登録商標)25ミクロン二軸延伸PLAフィルム(BI−AX International,Incから市販されている)の両方に、0.13lb/ream、1.7lb/reamおよび2.4lb/reamの乾燥コーティング重量で付着させ、2週間硬化させた。MVTRデータをASTM E96 50%RHウェットカップ法に基づいて記録し、対照サンプルと比較した。試験結果の概要を以下の表1に示す。
21.6%の全固体含有量を有し、本明細書では「溶液A」と特定される溶液から、艶消外側保護層を形成するための組成物を製造した。溶液Aは、5.9%のUCAR(登録商標)VAGHビニル樹脂粉末(ミシガン州ミッドランドのDow Chemical Companyから市販されている高分子量ヒドロキシル官能性の部分的に加水分解された塩化ビニル/酢酸ビニル樹脂);3.0%のRESIMENE(登録商標)797(ミズーリ州セントルイスのMonsanto Chemical Companyから市販されているメチロール化メラミンホルムアルデヒド樹脂);4.9%のNACURE(登録商標)155(コネチカット州NorwalkのKing Industries,Incから市販されている架橋触媒);9.6%のBECKOSOL(登録商標)12−093アルキド樹脂(ノースカロライナ州DurhamのRichold,Incから市販されている);2.9%のSYLOID(登録商標)378シリカ(W.R.Grace&Co.から市販されている);2.0%のSYLYSIA(登録商標)310シリカ(日本の有限会社Y.K.F.コーポレーションから市販されている);1.0%のACRYLOID(登録商標)B67アクリル樹脂(ペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィアのRohm and Haas Companyから市販されている);および酢酸プロピルとトルエンの69.5%溶媒混合物;の混合物で構成されていた。

Claims (3)
- 多層フィルムであって、
(a)生分解性ポリマー層;
(b)任意選択の中間接着性プライマー層;および
(c)0.5g/645.16cm2/日(100in2/日)から45g/645.16cm2/日(100in2/日)の水蒸気透過率を有する、ポリ塩化ビニリデンを含む吸湿防止層であって、ナノメートルスケールのクレーと混合された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む前記吸湿防止層;
を順に含み、37.8℃および100%相対湿度で62から310g/m2/日(4から20g/100in2/日)の水蒸気透過率を有するフィルム。 - パッケージであって、
(a)生分解性ポリマー層;
(b)任意選択の中間接着性プライマー層;および
(c)0.5g/645.16cm2/日(100in2/日)から45g/645.16cm2/日(100in2/日)の水蒸気透過率を有する、ポリ塩化ビニリデンを含む吸湿防止層;
を順に含む多層フィルムから形成されたパッケージであり、前記吸湿防止層がそれ自体の上に重ねられ、少なくとも部分的にシールされてパッケージを形成し、
該多層フィルムが、37.8℃および100%相対湿度で62から310g/m2/日(4から20g/100in2/日)の水蒸気透過率を有するパッケージ。 - パッケージを製造する方法であって、
任意選択で中間接着性プライマー層を介して、少なくとも1つの生分解性ポリマー層を吸湿防止層の表面に接着することによって多層フィルムを形成する工程と、
パッケージを形成するように多層フィルムを配置する工程とを含み、
前記吸湿防止層が、それ自体の上に重ねられ、シールされて前記パッケージを形成し、前記吸湿防止層が、前記パッケージの最内層を構成し、そして、ポリ塩化ビニリデンを含む方法であり、
該多層フィルムが、37.8℃および100%相対湿度で62から310g/m2/日(4から20g/100in2/日)の水蒸気透過率を有する方法。
