Description
従って本発明は、上記の課題を解決するものであり、700℃付近の超高温度域においても十分なフェード特性と優れた摩擦強度を有する摩擦材を提供することを目的とする。
(2)チタン酸カリウム粉末の含有量が10〜30質量%である上記(1)に記載の摩擦材。
(3)スチール繊維の含有量が1〜7質量%である上記(1)又は(2)に記載の摩擦材。
(4)ピロリン酸カルシウムの含有量が5〜20質量%である上記(1)〜(3)のいずれか1つに記載の摩擦材。
(5)酸化鉄の含有量が1〜5質量%である上記(1)〜(4)のいずれか1つに記載の摩擦材。
本発明によれば、700℃付近の超高温度域においても十分なフェード特性と優れた摩擦強度を有する摩擦材を提供することができる。
繊維基材(スチール繊維を除く)の配合量は、摩擦材全体に対して、好ましくは1〜30質量%、より好ましくは5〜15質量%である。
結合材の配合量は特に限定的ではないが、摩擦材全体に対して、好ましくは5〜20質量%、より好ましくは5〜10質量%である。
これらの摩擦調整材の配合量は、本発明の上記配合成分も含めて、摩擦材全体に対して、好ましくは50〜90質量%、より好ましくは70〜90質量%である。
表1〜3で示すとおりの配合割合で原材料を高速ミキサーによって5分間混合し、成形温度150℃、成形圧力40MPa、成形時間5分の条件で成形し、その後250℃の温度で2時間アフタキュアを行い、摩擦材を作製した。
・チタン酸カリウム粉末の平均粒径:13μm
・スチール繊維の平均繊維径:300μm/平均繊維長:1mm
・ピロリン酸カルシウムの平均粒径:15μm
・酸化鉄の平均粒径:0.5μm
1)フェード特性
フェード試験は、初速度160km/h、減速度10m/s2、温度最大700℃、制動回数40回の条件でダイナモメータによるフェード試験を行い、全制動回数に対する最低摩擦係数を車輌重量システムにより決定し(例えば0.25)、その値を上回る回数により判断する。

○:回数が10回以上14回未満
×:回数が10回未満
2)パッド摩耗量の測定
上記フェード試験終了時に、パッドの摩耗量を測定した。
◎:摩耗量3mm未満
○:摩耗量3mm以上5mm未満
×:摩耗量5mm以上
Claims (5)
- 繊維基材、摩擦調整材及び結合材を含む摩擦材であって、繊維基材としてスチール繊維を0.5〜10質量%、並びに、摩擦調整材としてチタン酸カリウム粉末を5〜40質量%、ピロリン酸カルシウムを2〜25質量%及び酸化鉄を0.5〜8質量%含有することを特徴とする摩擦材。
- チタン酸カリウム粉末の含有量が10〜30質量%である請求項1記載の摩擦材。
- スチール繊維の含有量が1〜7質量%である請求項1又は2記載の摩擦材。
- ピロリン酸カルシウムの含有量が5〜20質量%である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材。
- 酸化鉄の含有量が1〜5質量%である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦材。
