LSGM原料粉末の作製は、固相法により行った。La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3に示すランタンとガリウムを含むペロブスカイト型酸化物の組成比となるように、原料となる各種金属酸化物の粉末を秤量し、溶液中で混合した後に溶媒を除去して得られた粉末を、1400℃で焼成、および粉砕してランタンガレート系電解質材料を作製した。更に、得られた粉末を1000℃で仮焼成および粉砕することにより、LSGM原料粉末を得た。
上記のようにして得られたLSGM原料粉末を用いて、以下の方法で固体酸化物型燃料電池セルである単セルSC2を作製した。
上記で得られた固体酸化物形燃料電池セルである単セルSC2の固体電解質層22bにおけるMgOの存在状態を、以下の方法により分析した。

22b:固体電解質層

Claims (3)
- 固体電解質によって層状に形成された固体電解質層と、前記固体電解質層の一側面に形成され燃料ガスを前記固体電解質層に透過させる燃料極と、前記固体電解質層の他側面に形成され酸化剤ガスを前記固体電解質層に透過させる空気極と、を備える固体酸化物形燃料電池であって、
前記燃料極は、Ni及びNiOの少なくとも一方を含み、
前記固体電解質層は、La及びGaを少なくとも含むペロブスカイト型複合酸化物とMgOとを含み、
前記固体電解質層において前記MgOは粒子状のMgO粒子となって前記燃料極側の側面に偏在することを特徴とする固体電解質形燃料電池。 - 前記ペロブスカイト型複合酸化物は、ランタンガレート系ペロブスカイト型複合酸化物であって、前記固体電解質層において粒子状であるLSGM粒子となって存在し、
前記固体電解質層の燃料極側の界面において前記LSGM粒子と前記MgO粒子との体積比率が、80:20〜20:80であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体電解質形燃料電池。 - 前記固体電解質層と前記燃料極との間に、Laを含むセリウム酸化物からなる中間層が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の固体電解質形燃料電池。
