Description
使用される「組成物」という用語は、組成物を構成する材料の混合物、ならびに組成物の材料から生成される反応性生物および分解性生物を含む。
本発明のバイコンポーネント繊維は、どのような形状のものであってもよく、特定の形状に限定されない。しかし、好ましいのは、コア−シース型バイコンポーネント繊維およびサイド・バイ・サイド型バイコンポーネント繊維である。
本発明のバイコンポーネント繊維は、コモノマー分布定数が約45よりも大きく、再結晶温度が85℃ないし110℃であり、0.1rad/secでのタンデルタ値が約15ないし50であり、0.1rad/secでの複素粘度が1400Pa・sec以下であるポリエチレン系樹脂(A)を含有する。
本発明のバイコンポーネント繊維は、典型的に本発明によるコア−シース型バイコンポーネント繊維のコア部分を形成する高融点樹脂(B)を含む。そのような高融点樹脂(B)は、上のポリエチレン系樹脂(A)よりも融点が少なくとも10℃高く、好ましくは少なくとも20℃高く、最も好ましくは少なくとも30℃高い熱可塑性樹脂である。
繊維のシース部を形成するポリエチレン系樹脂(A)および/または繊維のコア部を形成する高融点樹脂(B)を、状況に応じて着色剤、耐熱安定剤、潤滑剤、核形成剤、他のポリマーのような添加剤とブレンドしてもよい。
本発明によるバイコンポーネント繊維の製造には適切な紡糸口金を有する先行技術の装置を用いてもよい。
ウェットレイド不織布、エアレイド不織布およびカード式不織布のような不織布を製造するために、紡糸後にさらなる処理が必要である。
[標準的な環境、20℃+/−2℃、60〜65%相対空気湿度]
クリンプ数は典型的に、クリンプ/cmとして示される。
本発明のさらに別の主題は上述したバイコンポーネント繊維を含む不織布である。
密度
密度を測定するための試料をASTM D 1928に従って準備した。ASTM D 792、方法Bを用いた1時間の試料加圧の間に測定を行った。
メルトインデックス、すなわちI2を、ASTM D 1238に従って190℃/2.16kgの条件で測定し、10分あたりに溶出したグラムで記録した。I10を、ASTM D 1238に従って190℃/10kgの条件で測定し、10分あたりに溶出したグラムで記録した。
示差走査熱分析(DSC)を用いてポリマーの融解および結晶化の挙動を広範囲の温度に亘って測定することができる。例えば、RCS(冷凍冷却装置)とオートサンプラーとを備えたTA Instruments Q1000DSCを用いてこの分析を行う。試験の間中、50ml/minの窒素パージガス流を用いる。各試料を約175℃で溶融加圧して薄膜にする。その後、溶融試料を空冷して室温にする(〜25℃)。冷却したポリマーから3ないし10mgで6mm径の試料を取り出して、計量し、アルミニウム製の軽量な皿(およそ50mg)に載せ、クリンプして閉める。その後、分析を行い、熱特性を測定する。試料の温度を上げ下げして熱流対温度のプロファイルを作成し、試料の熱的挙動を測定する。最初に、試料を180℃に急速に加熱し、3分間等温に維持して、熱履歴を取り除いく。次に、試料を10℃/minの冷却速度で−40℃に冷却し、−40℃で3分間等温に維持する。次に、試料を10℃/minの加熱速度で加熱して試料を150℃にする(これは「第2加熱」傾斜である)。冷却曲線および第2加熱曲線を記録する。ベースラインの終点を結晶化の始まりから−20℃までに設定して冷却曲線を分析する。ベースラインの終点を−20℃から溶融の終了までに設定して加熱曲線を分析する。求めた値は、ピーク融解温度(Tm)、ピーク再結晶化温度(Tp)、融解熱(Hf)(ジュール/グラム)、および式2を用いたポリエチレン試料の計算結晶化度%である。
融解熱(Hf)およびピーク融解温度は第2加熱曲線から記録する。ピーク再結晶化温度を冷却曲線からTpと決定する。
窒素パージ下で、25mmの平行板を備えたTA Instruments ARESレオメーターを用いて恒温周波数掃引を行い、融液レオロジーを調べた。2.0mmのギャップ、10%の一定歪みで、全ての試料について190℃で周波数掃引を行った。周波数間隔は0.1ないし100radian/secであった。振幅と位相の観点から応力応答を分析して、それから貯蔵弾性係数(G’)、損失弾性係数(G”)、動的融解粘度(η*)を計算した。
結晶化溶出分画(CEF)(スペインのPolymerChar)(B. Monrabal et al, Macromol. Symp. 257, 71-79 (2007))によりコモノマー分布分析を行った。600ppmの酸化防止剤ブチルヒドロキシトルエン(BHT)を含むオルトジクロロベンゼン(ODCB)を溶媒として用いた。オートサンプラーを用いて(特に断りのない限り)4mg/mlでシェーキングしながら160℃で2時間試料調製を行った。注入容量は300μlである。
DMSの項に概説したように、0.1Radians/secから100Radians/secまでのDMS測定から動的溶融粘度を計算した。
次のようにしてG’とG”とからタンデルタを計算した。
以下に、本願の出願当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された発明を付記する。

[27]前記不織布はエアレイド不織布であり、前記バイコンポーネント繊維はテクスチャード加工され、好ましくはクリンプ収縮(K1)が3ないし7%であり、クリンプ数が3ないし6クリンプ/cmであり、好ましくは長さが0.2cmないし3cm、最も好ましくは0.3cmないし2.5cmである[21]に記載の不織布。
[28]前記不織布はカード式不織布であり、前記バイコンポーネント繊維はテクスチャード加工され、好ましくはクリンプ収縮(K1)が8ないし15%であり、クリンプ数が5ないし8クリンプ/cmであり、好ましくは長さが2cmないし15cm、最も好ましくは3cmないし6cmである[21]に記載の不織布。
[29]前記不織布はさらに、粒子材料、好ましくは超吸収材料を含み、前記粒子材料は好ましくは無機粒子材料、好ましくは研磨材料である[21]に記載の不織布。
[30]前記有機繊維材料は、有機ポリマー樹脂に加えて天然繊維材料も含む[23]に記載の不織布。
[31]前記有機ポリマー樹脂は溶融紡糸可能な材料であり、好ましくはポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、ポリアミドまたはこれらの混合物である[30]に記載の不織布。
[32]前記無機繊維材料は、ガラスおよび/または鉱物をベースとする[23]に記載の不織布。
[33]前記有機繊維材料は、セルロース、綿、ポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンをベースとするホモポリマーおよびコポリマーをベースとする[23]に記載の不織布。
[34][1]ないし[20]のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維および/または[21]ないし[33]のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの不織布を含む織物製品、特に衛生および/または生理製品。
[35][1]ないし[20]のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維および/または[21]ないし[33]のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの不織布を含むフィルターメディア製品。
[36][1]ないし[20]のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維および/または[21]ないし[33]のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの不織布を含む電池セパレーター製品。
Claims (67)
- ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)と、その融点が上記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)のそれより少なくとも10℃高い高融点樹脂(B)とからなるバイコンポーネント繊維であって、前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)の前記高融点樹脂(B)に対する重量成分比が50/50ないし10/90の範囲であり、前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)が前記繊維の表面の少なくとも一部を長手方向に連続的に形成しており、前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、コモノマー分布定数が45よりも大きく、再結晶温度が85℃ないし110℃であり、190℃における0.1rad/secでのタンデルタ値が15ないし50であり、0.1rad/secでの複素粘度が1400Pa・sec以下であることを特徴とするバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維は、コア−シース型バイコンポーネント繊維である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記コア−シース型バイコンポーネント繊維は、偏心バイコンポーネント繊維、および/またはサイド・バイ・サイド型バイコンポーネント繊維である請求項2に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、単一示差走査熱分析(DSC)融解ピークが85℃ないし110℃の温度範囲内である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、コモノマー分布定数が45ないし400の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、コモノマー分布定数が50ないし100の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、コモノマー分布定数が55ないし100の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、メルトインデックス(ASTM D 1238に従って190℃/2.16kgの条件で測定)が5ないし25g/10minの範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、メルトインデックス(ASTM D 1238に従って190℃/2.16kgの条件で測定)が5ないし20g/10min、の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、密度が0.910ないし0.930g/cm 3 の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、密度が0.915ないし0.925g/cm 3 の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、ピーク再結晶温度が85℃ないし110℃の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、ピーク再結晶温度が90℃ないし100℃の範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、6炭素原子よりも長い分枝を1000炭素原子あたり0.2より多く有する請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、6炭素原子よりも長い分枝を1000炭素原子あたり0.2ないし3有する請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、複素粘度が100rad/secで500Pa・sec以下である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、複素粘度が0.1rad/secで500ないし1200の範囲、100rad/secで150ないし450Pa・secの範囲である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)は、190℃における0.1rad/secでのタンデルタ値が15ないし40である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記高融点樹脂(B)は、融点が上記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)のそれよりも少なくとも20℃高い請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記高融点樹脂(B)は、融点が上記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)のそれよりも少なくとも30℃高い請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記高融点樹脂(B)は、ポリオレフィン、ポリエステル樹脂、またはポリアミド樹脂である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは、プロピレン系ポリマーである請求項21に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、またはポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)である請求項21に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリアミド樹脂は、ナイロンである請求項21に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記ポリエチレン系樹脂(A)および/または前記高融点樹脂(B)は添加剤を含有する請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記添加剤は、着色剤、耐熱安定剤、潤滑剤、核形成剤、および接着促進剤からなる群から選択される請求項25に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記接着促進剤は、マレイン酸(MSA)または無水マレイン酸(MAH)である請求項26に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記接着促進剤は、0.05ないし3重量%の量である請求項27に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- タイターが0.7ないし20dtexである請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- タイターが0.9ないし15dtexである請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維は、長さが0.2cmないし15cmのステープル繊維である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維は、長さが0.2cmないし8cmのステープル繊維である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維は、長さが0.3cmないし6cmのステープル繊維である請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維はテクスチャード加工されている請求項1に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維はクリンプ収縮(K1)が3ないし7%、クリンプ数が3ないし6クリンプ/cmである請求項34に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 前記繊維はクリンプ収縮(K1)が8ないし15%、クリンプ数が5ないし8クリンプ/cmである請求項34に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維。
- 請求項1ないし36のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維を含む不織布。
- 前記不織布は、ウェットレイド不織布、エアレイド不織布またはカード式不織布である請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布は、他の繊維材料を含有する請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記他の繊維材料は、有機および/または無機の繊維材料である請求項39に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布は、坪量が10ないし500g/m2である請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は連続繊維またはステープル繊維である請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、ステープル繊維長が0.2cmないし8cmである請求項42に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布はウェットレイド不織布であり、前記バイコンポーネント繊維はテクスチャード加工していない扁平繊維である請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記扁平繊維は、長さが0.2cmないし3cmである請求項44に記載の不織布。
- 前記扁平繊維は、長さが0.3cmないし2.5cmである請求項44に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布はエアレイド不織布であり、前記バイコンポーネント繊維はテクスチャード加工されている請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、クリンプ収縮(K1)が3ないし7%であり、クリンプ数が3ないし6クリンプ/cmである請求項47に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、長さが0.2cmないし3cmである請求項47または48に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は長さが0.3cmないし2.5cmである請求項47または48に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布はカード式不織布であり、前記バイコンポーネント繊維はテクスチャード加工されている請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、クリンプ収縮(K1)が8ないし15%であり、クリンプ数が5ないし8クリンプ/cmである請求項51に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、長さが2cmないし15cmである請求項51または52に記載の不織布。
- 前記バイコンポーネント繊維は、長さが3cmないし6cmである請求項51または52に記載の不織布。
- 前記不織布はさらに、粒子材料を含む請求項37に記載の不織布。
- 前記粒子材料は超吸収材料である請求項55に記載の不織布。

- 前記織物製品は衛生および/または生理製品である請求項64に記載の織物製品。
- 請求項1ないし36のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維および/または請求項37ないし63のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの不織布を含むフィルターメディア製品。
- 請求項1ないし36のいずれか1項に記載のバイコンポーネント繊維および/または請求項37ないし63のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つの不織布を含む電池セパレーター製品。
