Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極が設けられた電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層される燃料電池であって、
互いに隣接する前記セパレータは、一方の前記セパレータの外周縁部に、他方の前記セパレータの平坦な外周縁部から離間する段差部を設けることにより、互いに隣接する前記セパレータの各外周縁部間には、ホットメルト接着シートである接着剤が充填されて接着剤層が形成され、
前記接着剤層は、前記段差部から各セパレータの外周端面を覆って設けられるとともに、
前記接着剤層を構成し、各セパレータの前記外周端面を覆う端面接着剤層は、他方の前記セパレータの前記外周端面において、前記段差部側の端部を覆い、且つ前記端部とは反対側の端部より内側に離間する外周端面内で終端することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記セパレータは、金属セパレータであるとともに、
互いに隣接する前記セパレータ間には、冷却媒体をセパレータ面方向に流通させる冷却媒体流路が形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
