Description
前記判定期間における前記アクセル開度の変化量の積算値であるアクセル開度変化幅を算出するアクセル開度変化幅算出手段と、前記アクセル開度変化幅に基づいて、前記所定の車速範囲を変化させて前記車速一定モードを継続するか、又は前記車両の動力源で発生した動力を駆動軸へと伝達しない走行モードである惰性走行モードへと切替えるかを判定する走行モード判定手段と、前記車両の走行モードを、前記判定された走行モードへと切替える走行モード切替手段とを備え、前記走行モード判定手段は、前記アクセル開度変化幅が所定の変化幅よりも小さい場合に、より低い車速に減速して、前記車速一定モードを継続すると判定し、前記判定期間の長さは、前記車両の速度に応じて可変とされている。
上述した走行モードの切替えによれば、運転者が緩やかな減速の継続を意図している場合に惰性走行モードが継続されるため、効果的に燃費を向上させることができる。一方で、運転者が急激な減速や加速を意図している場合には、惰性走行モードが中断され、他の走行モードへと切替えられる。以上の結果、燃費を向上させつつ、運転者の意図を正確に反映した走行を実現することが可能となる。
本発明に係る第3の走行制御装置は、上述した第1の走行制御装置と同様に、例えば、一又は複数のCPU(Central Processing Unit)、MPU(Micro Processing Unit)、各種プロセッサ又は各種コントローラ、或いは更にROM(Read Only Memory)、RAM(Random Access Memory)、バッファメモリ又はフラッシュメモリ等の各種記憶手段等を適宜に含み得る、単体の或いは複数のECU(Electronic Controlled Unit)等の各種処理ユニット、各種コントローラ或いはマイコン装置等各種コンピュータシステム等の形態を採り得る。
以上説明したように、本発明に係る第3の走行制御装置によれば、運転者が意図する走行を好適に実現すると共に、効果的に燃費を向上させることが可能である。
先ず、本実施形態に係る走行制御装置が搭載される車両の全体構成について、図1を参照して説明する。ここに図1は、本実施形態に係る走行制御装置が搭載される車両の全体構成を示す概略図である。
次に、本実施形態に係る走行制御装置の一例であるECU100の具体的な構成について、図3を参照して説明する。ここに図3は、本実施形態に係るECUの構成を示すブロック図である。なお、図3では、ECU100に含まれる要素のうち本実施形態に関係の深いもののみを図示し、その他については適宜図示を省略している。
次に、本実施形態に係るハイブリッド車両1で実現される走行モードの1つである断続運転モードについて、図4から図7を参照して説明する。ここに図4は、MGのみでの断続運転モードにおける走行制御の一例を示すタイミングチャートであり、図5は、MG及びエンジンを併用した断続運転モードにおける走行制御の一例を示すタイミングチャート断続運転である。また図6は、MGを連続運転させての断続運転モードにおける走行制御の一例を示すタイミングチャート断続運転であり、図7は、エンジンを連続運転させての断続運転モードにおける走行制御の一例を示すタイミングチャート断続運転である。
次に、本実施形態に係る走行制御装置によって実行される処理について説明する。なお、ここでは、走行制御装置が実行する処理のうち、本実施形態に関連の深い走行モードの切替え処理について詳細に説明し、その他の処理については適宜説明を省略するものとする。以下では、2つの実施形態を挙げて走行制御装置が実行する処理について詳細に説明する。なお、以下の第1実施形態は、本発明に係る第1の走行制御装置及び第3の走行制御装置に対応する実施形態であり、第2実施形態は、本発明に係る第2の走行制御装置及び第3の走行制御装置に対応する実施形態である。
先ず、第1実施形態に係る走行制御装置の動作について、図8から図10を参照して説明する。ここに図8は、第1実施形態に係る走行制御装置の動作を示すフローチャートである。また図9は、車速とアクセル開度変化量に対する閾値accAとの関係を示すグラフであり、図10は、車速と判定期間の長さとの関係を示すグラフである。なお、以下では、ハイブリッド車両1が、上述した断続運転モードで走行している状態で処理が開始されたものとして説明を進める。
次に、第2実施形態に係る走行制御装置によって実行される処理について説明する。なお、第2実施形態は、上述した第1実施形態と比べて一部の処理が異なるのみであり、その他の部分については概ね同様である。このため、以下では、第1実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、その他の重複する部分については適宜説明を省略するものとする。

Claims (3)
- 複数の走行モードを相互に切替えつつ走行可能な車両の走行を制御する走行制御装置であって、
前記車両を所定の車速範囲内で走行させる走行モードである車速一定モードでの走行中において、運転者のアクセル操作に起因するアクセル開度の変化量が所定変化量を超えたか否かを判定するアクセル開度判定手段と、
前記アクセル開度の変化量が前記所定変化量を超えたと判定された場合に、前記車両の走行モードを切替えるか否かを判定するための判定期間を開始させる判定期間開始手段と、
前記判定期間における前記アクセル開度の変化量の積算値であるアクセル開度変化幅を算出するアクセル開度変化幅算出手段と、
前記アクセル開度変化幅に基づいて、前記所定の車速範囲を変化させて前記車速一定モードを継続するか、又は前記車両の動力源で発生した動力を駆動軸へと伝達しない走行モードである惰性走行モードへと切替えるかを判定する走行モード判定手段と、
前記車両の走行モードを、前記判定された走行モードへと切替える走行モード切替手段と
を備え、
前記走行モード判定手段は、前記アクセル開度変化幅が所定の変化幅よりも小さい場合に、より低い車速に減速して、前記車速一定モードを継続すると判定し、
前記判定期間の長さは、前記車両の速度に応じて可変とされている
ことを特徴とする走行制御装置。 - 前記車速一定モードは、前記車両の動力源を間欠運転させることで、前記車両を前記所定の車速範囲内で走行させる断続運転モードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の走行制御装置。
- 前記惰性走行モードでの走行中は、前記車両の動力源から出力されるクリープトルクがカットされることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の走行制御装置。
