Description
Claims (3)
- 第1発光点S1、第2発光点S2、および第1投影点r1を定義し、第1発光点S1から発せられた光が仮想入射面上の複数の入射点Piの各々へ入射して第1投影点r1に投影され、第2発光点S2から発せられた光が前記複数の入射点Piの各々へ入射して、第1投影点r1から所定の方向に位置する第2投影点r2に投影されるよう、前記複数の入射点Piの各々における前記仮想入射面の法線方向niを算出する工程と、
前記複数の入射点Piにおいて算出された法線方向niを用いて前記仮想入射面の形状を定義する工程と、
定義された前記仮想入射面の形状となるよう入射面を形成する工程と、
を備え、
第1発光点S1から発せられ前記複数の入射点Piの各々へ入射した光が出射される仮想出射面上の複数の第1出射点Po1の各々において、出射した光が第1投影点r1に投影されるよう前記仮想出射面の法線方向no1を算出し、
第2発光点S2から発せられ前記複数の入射点Piの各々へ入射した光が出射される前記仮想出射面上の複数の第2出射点Po2の各々における前記仮想出射面の法線方向no2が、複数の第2出射点Po2の各々に対し光の入射源である入射点Piが共通する第1出射点Po1の法線方向no1と平行であるとして、前記複数の入射点Piの各々における前記仮想入射面の法線方向niを算出することを特徴とするレンズの製造方法。 - 法線方向niを算出すべき、ある入射点Piの位置を定義し、その入射点Piを含み且つその入射点Piについて算出された法線方向niを持つ平面上に、法線方向niを算出すべき次の入射点Piの位置を定義する、という工程を繰り返すことにより、前記複数の入射点Piの各々の位置を定義することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレンズの製造方法。
- 第1発光点S1および第2発光点S2は、光源の発光面における同一の端縁上に位置するよう定義され、
第1投影点r1は、形成すべき投影像のカットオフライン上に位置するよう定義され、
前記複数の入射点Piの各々における前記仮想入射面の法線方向niは、第2発光点S2から発せられた光が前記複数の入射点Piの各々へ入射して、第1投影点r1から前記カットオフラインの延在方向に位置する第2投影点r2に投影されるよう算出されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のレンズの製造方法。
