Description
Xは、互いに同じかまたは異なることができ、水素、ハロゲン、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシ、アシルオキシ、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、または−N(R2)2であり、
R1は、互いに同じかまたは異なることができ、炭素数1〜12のアルキル、炭素数2〜12のアルケニル、アルキニル、炭素数6〜20のアリール、アリールアルキル、アルキルアリール、アリールアルケニル、アルケニルアリール、アリールアルキニル、アルキニルアリール、ハロゲン、アミド、アルデヒド、ケトン、アルキルカルボニル、カルボキシ、メルカプト、シアノ、ヒドロキシ、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシ、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシカルボニル、スルホン酸、リン酸、アクリルオキシ、メタクリルオキシ、エポキシ、またはビニル基であり、
R2は、水素、または炭素数1〜12のアルキルであり、
mは、1〜3の整数であり、
R3は、互いに同じかまたは異なることができ、ハロゲン、炭素数1〜12のアルキル、アルコキシ、アシルオキシ、またはヒドロキシ基であり、
Zは、3または4の整数である。
上記硬化型エポキシ樹脂は、バッファー組成物100重量部に対して5〜95重量部で使用することができ、バッファー組成物100重量部に対して1〜90重量部の硬化剤をさらに含むことができる。また、上記硬化型エポキシ樹脂は、バッファー組成物100重量部に対して0.1〜20重量部の触媒をさらに含むことができる。
テトラエトキシシラン(TEOS)20重量部、グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(GPTMS)10重量部を混合した後、これに蒸留水7重量部、エタノール20重量部及びHCl 0.01重量部を添加し、25℃で24時間部分加水分解して製造したゾル(sol)上にエポキシ化合物(商品名ERL−4221、Dow Chemical)100重量部、触媒としてのトリアリールスルホニウムヘキサフルオロアンチモネート塩(triarylsulfonium hexafluoro antimonite salts mixed)
1)光透過度:ASTM D 1003に基づいて各々Varian社のUV−分光計を使用して可視光線領域である380から780nmの範囲で測定した。
2)酸素透過率:MOCON社のOX−TRAN2/20を使用してASTM D3985の方法で常温で0%の相対湿度で測定した。
3)水蒸気透過率:PERMATRAN−W−3/33を使用してASTM F 1249の方法で100%の相対湿度で常温で48時間測定した。
4)線膨張係数:ASTMD 696に基づいて熱機械分析器(TMA;Thermomechnical Analysis)で5gfの応力下で分当たり10℃に昇温しながら測定し、鉛筆硬度は、200gの荷重下でASTM D3363の方法で測定した。
硬化剤であるアンハイドライド(ANHYDRIDE)(MH700G、New Japan Chemical)10重量部を追加に投入することを除いて、実施例1−1と同一の方法でバッファー組成物を製造し、同一の構造の多層プラスチック基板を製造した。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
テトラエトキシシラン80重量部、グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン10重量部を混合した後、これに蒸留水28重量部、エタノール80重量部及びHCl0.04重量部を添加することを除いて、実施例1−1と同一の方法でバッファー組成物を製造し、同一の構造の多層プラスチック基板を製造した。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
コロイダルシリカ(MIBK−ST)30重量部を追加に添加することを除いて、実施例1−1と同一の方法でバッファー組成物を製造し、同一の構造の多層プラスチック基板を製造した。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
金属アルコキシド[Al(OBu)3]10重量部を追加に投入し、蒸留水10重量部、エタノール30重量部を投入し、コロイダルシリカ(MIBK−ST)30重量部を追加に投入することを除いて、実施例1−1と同一の方法でバッファー組成物を製造し、同一の構造の多層プラスチック基板を製造した。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
ガス遮断層と第2のバッファー層をPETの一面にのみ形成することを除いて、実施例1−1と同一の方法で多層プラスチック基板を製造した。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
実施例1−1と同一の方法で製造されたバッファーコーティング組成物を利用して同一の構造のプラスチック基板を製造した。但し、バッファーコーティング組成物の硬化は、UV硬化なしに120℃で1時間熱硬化だけで硬化した。
しかし、PETフィルムの一面に第1のバッファー層をコーティングした後、熱硬化すれば、フィルムの厚さ方向に対称構造を形成しないので、硬化中に反り(curl)現象が発生し、これにガス遮断層及び第2のバッファー層を順次に形成すれば、反り現象がさらに激しくなることを確認することができた。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表1に示した。
実施例1−1と同一の方法で製造されたバッファーコーティング組成物を利用して同一の構造のプラスチック基板を製造した。但し、バッファーコーティング組成物の硬化は、90℃対流オーブンで5分間溶媒を除去し、UV硬化して製造し、熱硬化段階を省略した。
UV硬化だけを行う場合、硬化が完全に行われず、そのため、界面間の接着力が低くなり、鉛筆硬度などの物性が低いコーティングされたフィルムが製造された。
テトラエトキシシラン(TEOS)20重量部、グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(GPTMS)10重量部を混合した後、これに蒸留水7重量部、エタノール20重量部及びHCl 0.01重量部を添加し、25℃で24時間部分加水分解して製造したゾル(sol)上にエポキシ化合物(商品名ERL−4221、Dow Chemical)100重量部、触媒としてのトリアリールスルホニウムヘキサフルオロアンチモネート塩(triarylsulfonium hexafluoro antimonite salts mixed)

実施例2−1と同一の方法で製造されたバッファーコーティング組成物を利用して同一の構造のプラスチック基板を製造した。但し、バッファーコーティング組成物の硬化は、UV硬化なしに120℃で1時間熱硬化だけで硬化した。
しかし、PETフィルムの一面に第1のバッファー層をコーティングした後に熱硬化すれば、フィルムの厚さ方向に対称構造を形成しないので、硬化中に反り(curl)現象が発生し、これにガス遮断層及び第2のバッファー層を順次に形成すれば、反り現象がさらに激しくなることを確認することができた。製造された多層プラスチック基板の物性を測定し、表2に示した。
実施例2−1と同一の方法で製造されたバッファーコーティング組成物を利用して同一の構造のプラスチック基板を製造した。但し、バッファーコーティング組成物の硬化は、90℃対流オーブンで5分間溶媒を除去し、UV硬化して製造し、熱硬化段階を省略した。
UV硬化だけを行う場合、硬化が完全に行われず、そのため、界面間の接着力が低くなり、鉛筆硬度などの物性が低いコーティングされたフィルムが製造された。

Claims (13)
- 高分子基材と;
上記高分子基材の上面及び下面に形成され、UV硬化及びその後の熱硬化可能なバッファー組成物のUV硬化及び熱硬化による硬化物を含む第1バッファー層と
上記高分子基材の下面に形成された第1バッファー層のうち少なくとも1つの第1バッファー層の一面に順次に備えられたガス遮断層及び第2バッファー層と;
を含む多層プラスチック基板であって、
上記第1バッファー層及び第2バッファー層は、有機シラン及び金属アルコキシドのうち少なくとも1つの加水分解物と硬化型エポキシ樹脂の混合物のUV硬化及び熱硬化による硬化物を含み、
上記第1バッファー層または第2バッファー層の未硬化エポキシ基含量が、50重量%以上100重量%未満であり、
上記有機シランは、下記化学式1〜化学式3で表示される化合物よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種以上を含み、上記金属アルコキシドは、下記化学式4で表示される化合物よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種以上を含み、上記硬化型エポキシ樹脂は、下記化学式5〜10で示す脂環式エポキシ樹脂及び下記化学式11で示すトリグリシジルイソシアヌレートよりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種以上を含み、
上記多層プラスチック基板の線形膨張係数は、5〜14ppm/Kであり、
上記多層プラスチック基板の鉛筆硬度は、3H〜8Hであり、
上記多層プラスチック基板の表面平坦度(Ra)は、0.1〜1.2nmであり、
上記多層プラスチック基板の酸素透過率が0.05cc/m2/day/atm未満であり、
上記多層プラスチック基板の光透過度は、87%以上であり、
上記多層プラスチック基板の水蒸気透過率は、0.005g/m2/day未満であることを特徴とする、多層プラスチック基板:
Xは、それぞれ互いに独立して同一又は異なることができ、水素、ハロゲン、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシ、アシルオキシ、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、または−N(R2)2であり、
R1は、それぞれ互いに独立して同一又は異なることができ、炭素数1〜12のアルキル、炭素数2〜12のアルケニル、アルキニル、炭素数6〜20のアリール、アリールアルキル、アルキルアリール、アリールアルケニル、アルケニルアリール、アリールアルキニル、アルキニルアリール、ハロゲン、アミド、アルデヒド、ケトン、アルキルカルボニル、カルボキシ、メルカプト、シアノ、ヒドロキシ、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシ、炭素数1〜12のアルコキシカルボニル、スルホン酸、リン酸、アクリルオキシ、メタクリルオキシ、エポキシ、またはビニル基であり、

Zは、3または4の整数である。
- 上記高分子基材は、単一層構造または2層以上の高分子層が相互に接合された構造であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記高分子基材は、単一高分子、1種以上の高分子ブレンド、及び有機または無機添加物を含有する高分子複合材料よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記単一高分子または1種以上の高分子ブレンドのための高分子は、ポリノルボルネン、芳香族フルオレンポリエステル、ポリエーテルスルホン、ビスフェノールAポリスルホン、ポリイミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリアリレート、ポリカーボネート、及び環状オレフイン共重合体よりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記無機添加物を含有する高分子複合材料は、クレイナノ物質が高分子マトリックスに分散されたポリマー−クレイナノ複合体であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記硬化物100重量部に対して有機シラン及び金属アルコキシドのうち少なくとも1つの加水分解物は5〜95重量部であり、上記硬化型エポキシ樹脂は、5〜95重量部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記第1バッファー層及び第2バッファー層のうち少なくとも1つは、金属、ガラス粉末、ダイヤモンド粉末、シリコンオキシド、クレイ、カルシウムホスフェート、マグネシウムホスフェート、バリウムスルフェート、アルミニウムフルオライド、カルシウムシリケート、マグネシウムシリケート、バリウムシリケート、バリウムカーボネート、バリウムヒドロキシド及びアルミニウムシリケートよりなる群から少なくとも1種以上選択される充填剤;硬化剤、触媒及び溶媒をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記第1バッファー層及び第2バッファー層の厚さが0.1μm〜50μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- 上記ガス遮断層の厚さは、5〜1,000nmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板。
- (a)高分子基材の一面にUV硬化及び熱硬化可能なバッファー組成物をコーティングし、第1バッファー層を形成する段階と、
(b)上記(a)段階で形成した第1バッファー層をUV硬化する段階と、
(c)上記第1バッファー層を一面に具備した高分子基材の他面にUV硬化及び熱硬化可能なバッファー組成物をコーティングし、第1バッファー層を形成する段階と、
(d)上記(c)段階で形成した第1バッファー層をUV硬化する段階と、
(e)高分子基材の両面に備えられたUV硬化された第1バッファー層を同時に熱硬化する段階と、
(f)上記高分子基材の両面に形成された第1バッファー層のうち少なくとも1つの第1バッファー層の一面にガス遮断層及び第2バッファー層を順に形成する段階と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板の製造方法。 - (a)高分子基材の一面にUV硬化及び熱硬化可能なバッファー組成物をコーティングし、第1バッファー層を形成する段階と;
(b)上記第1バッファー層をUV硬化する段階と;
(c)上記UV硬化された第1バッファー層を熱硬化する段階と;
(d)上記第1バッファー層上にガス遮断層を形成する段階と;
(e)上記ガス遮断層に第2バッファー層を形成し、高分子基材、第1バッファー層、ガス遮断層及び第2バッファー層が順次積層された構造の多層フィルムを形成する段階と;
(f)上記(a)〜(e)の段階を繰り返して上記(e)段階と同一の構造の別の多層フィルムを製造する段階と;
(g)上記(e)段階及び上記(f)段階で各々製造した多層フィルムを高分子基材面が隣接するように互いに接合し、対称構造の多層フィルムを形成する段階と;
を含む、請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板の製造方法。 - UV硬化を、水銀またはメタルハライドランプを単独あるいは併用してエネルギー20mJ/cm2〜3000mJ/cm2で1秒〜1分行い、熱硬化を、100〜200℃の温度で1分〜1時間行うことを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載の多層プラスチック基板の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の多層プラスチック基板を含む電子素子。
