Description
無水エタノール及びキシレンの使用下で、DIN53402に従って測定された、40〜150mgKOH/g、好ましくは60〜130mgKOH/g、特に好ましくは70〜120mgKOH/gの酸価;
100℃で測定された50〜5,000mPa*s、好ましくは100〜3,000mPa*s、特に好ましくは200〜2,000mPa*sの動的粘度;
60〜95℃、好ましくは65〜90℃、特に好ましくは70〜80℃の滴点;
0〜30gヨウ素/100g、好ましくは3〜20gヨウ素/100g、特に好ましくは5〜10gヨウ素/100gのヨウ素価;
200バール超、好ましくは300バール超、特に好ましくは400バール超の圧子貫通硬度(Stempelpenetrationen)
溶融した生成物の動的粘度は、DIN 53019−1〜3に従い、回転粘度計で測定し、滴点はASTMD 3954に従って測定した。無水物の加水分解的開裂を回避するために、使用する溶剤のトルエン及びエタノールを無水形態で使用したという違い以外は、酸価の測定はDIN 53402に従って行った。ヨウ素価の測定はDIN EN 14111に従って行った。硬度の尺度としての圧子貫通硬度(Stempelpenetration)は、DGF−Methode M−III 9eに従って測定した(Fiebig, Braun, Fett/Lipid 98, 1996, Nr. 2, 86(非特許文献2)を参照)。微粒化時の粒度分析は、タイプMastersizer 2000(Malvern)の装置を使ったレーザー回折によって、分散装置Scirocco 2000の使用下で遂行した。
α−オレフィンC30+(ChevronPhillips社のオレフィン混合物)2,500gを、撹拌装置、内部温度計及び蒸留橋が装着されたガラス装置中で、窒素ブランケット(Stickstoffueberlagerung)下で溶融した。引き続いて、表1に示した量の無水マレイン酸を同量ずつ6回分に分け、それぞれを30分間隔で計量添加した。同じ時間内に、ジ−tert−ブチルパーオキシド50gを滴下ロートから連続的に加えた。引き続いて、1時間、後反応させた。これに続いて、揮発性画分を真空下(約30ミリバール)で留去した。約30分後、窒素の導入によって常圧にした。結果として得られたコポリマーワックスのデーターを表1に示す。
エアジェットミル 100 AFG(Hosokawa Micron)で微粒化したワックス(100%が25〜30μm未満、d50値は7.5〜8.5)を、撹拌下でゆっくりかつ連続的に、塗料処方中に計量添加し、そしてその後、強い撹拌下でディソルバーディスク(Disolver−Scheibe)を使って20分間分散させた。

上記のように製造された、本発明の微細コポリマーワックスの粒子の98〜99.5%、好ましくは粒子の99.5〜100%が、50μm未満、好ましくは40μm未満、より好ましくは30μm未満である。
Claims (13)
- a) 28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を、少なくとも一つのラジカル開始剤の存在下で不飽和ポリカルボン酸類又はそれの無水物と反応させること、及び
b) 引き続いて、粉砕又は噴霧によって微粒化すること、
よって製造される、微細コポリマーワックスであって、
上記粉砕又は噴霧されたコポリマーワックスの粒度の98〜99.5%が50μm未満であり、そしてその粒度分布のメジアン値d50が15μm未満であることを特徴とする、塗料用添加剤としての微細コポリマーワックス。 - a) 28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を、少なくとも一つのラジカル開始剤の存在下で不飽和ポリカルボン酸類又はそれの無水物と反応させること、及び

上記粉砕又は噴霧されたコポリマーワックスの粒度の99.5〜100%が50μm未満であり、そしてその粒度分布のメジアン値d50が15μm未満であることを特徴とする、塗料用添加剤としての微細コポリマーワックス。 - 塗料のための添加剤としてのコポリマーワックスの使用であり、その際、該コポリマーワックスは、28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を、少なくとも一つのラジカル開始剤の存在下で不飽和ポリカルボン酸類又はそれの無水物と反応させ、ついで粉砕又は噴霧によって微粒化されることによって製造され、そしてその際、上記粉砕又は噴霧されたコポリマーワックスの粒度の98〜99.5%が50μm未満であり、そしてその粒度分布のメジアン値d50が15μm未満である、上記の使用。
- 塗料のための添加剤としてのコポリマーワックスの使用であり、その際、該コポリマーワックスは、28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を、少なくとも一つのラジカル開始剤の存在下で不飽和ポリカルボン酸類又はそれの無水物と反応させ、ついで粉砕又は噴霧によって微粒化されることによって製造され、そしてその際、上記粉砕又は噴霧されたコポリマーワックスの粒度の99.5〜100%が50μm未満であり、そしてその粒度分布のメジアン値d50が15μm未満である、上記の使用。
- 無水エタノール及びトルエンの使用下において、DIN 53402に従って測定された40〜150mgKOH/gの酸価を有する、請求項3または4に記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 100℃で測定された50〜5,000mPa*sの動的粘度を有する、請求項3−5のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 60〜95℃の滴点を有する、請求項3〜6のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 0〜30gヨウ素/100gのヨウ素価を有する、請求項3〜7のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 200バール超の圧子貫通硬度を有する、請求項3〜8のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 前記コポリマーワックスが、28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を、無水マレイン酸と反応させることによって得られる、請求項3〜9のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 前記コポリマーワックスが、28個以上のC原子の鎖長範囲の長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素を無水マレイン酸と反応させることによって得られ、その際、無水マレイン酸の使用量は、上記長鎖オレフィン系炭化水素に対して、5〜33重量%である、請求項3〜10のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 分散物、ペースト又は微粒化物の形態で使用される、請求項3〜11のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
- 前記コポリマーワックス又はコポリマーワックスの混合物が、溶媒分散、ペーストを介して、又は混入撹拌によって着色塗料に混入される、請求項3〜12のいずれか一つに記載のコポリマーワックスの使用。
