Description
本発明は、様々な反応生成物を製造するのに有用なコスト効果的な金属合金結合触媒を提供することにより、先行技術の欠点を解決する。
(a)イオン交換樹脂;および
(b)触媒の乾燥重量を基準にして、金属合金;
を含む不均一触媒組成物であって、当該触媒組成物が化学反応において反応物質と反応する、不均一触媒組成物を提供する。
用語「架橋されたポリマーマトリックス」とは、都合良く官能化されて、ポリスルホン化、モノスルホン化または部分スルホン化芳香環を提供する架橋されたポリマー基体、および都合良く官能化されて、アミン官能基を有する芳香環を提供する架橋されたポリマー基体をいい;典型的には、架橋されたポリマーマトリックスは、芳香環がスルホン化条件にかけられて本発明の方法に有用な触媒を提供する架橋されたスチレン系ポリマーである。
用語「コポリマー」とは、位置異性体をはじめとする2種以上の異なるモノマーの単位を含むポリマー組成物をいう。
用語「架橋されたコポリマー」とは、全モノマー重量を基準にして少なくとも1重量パーセント(%)のポリビニル不飽和モノマーを含むモノマーもしくはモノマーの混合物から重合されたポリマーもしくはコポリマーを示す。
用語「ドープされた」とは、ポリマー担体への金属種の添加をいう。
用語「含浸された」とは、ポリマー担体内に錯体形成されうるもしくはポリマー担体内の金属構造としてであり得る金属をいう。
他に特定されない限りは、示される範囲は包括的に読まれ、かつ組み合わせ可能であり、並びに温度は摂氏度(℃)単位である。
あるいは、コポリマーは15〜99%、あるいは75〜90%のモノ不飽和ビニル芳香族モノマー単位を含む。
Claims (8)
- (a)ゲルまたはマクロポーラスビーズの形態の架橋されたポリマーであるイオン交換樹脂;および
(b)金属合金;
を含む、アルケン、ケトン、アルコールおよびアルキンの選択的還元から選択される反応において使用するための触媒組成物であって、
金属合金が以下から選択される金属の少なくとも2種を含み:
パラジウム(Pd)、白金(Pt)、ロジウム(Rh)、イリジウム(Ir)、ニッケル(Ni)、亜鉛(Zn)、鉄(Fe)、タングステン(W);並びに、
触媒が、触媒中に金属合金を堆積させるための少なくとも2種の金属を含むスルホン化イオン交換樹脂の還元された形態を含み、
前記金属は水素に曝露することによるか又は熱分解のいずれかによってゼロ価の状態に還元された、
触媒組成物。 - 触媒が、触媒の乾燥重量を基準にして、0.1〜0.9立方センチメートル/グラムの全ポロシティーおよび10〜100平方メートル/グラムの表面積を有するマクロポーラスビーズの形態である、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 触媒がゲルビーズの形態である、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 触媒が、50〜700オングストロームの全孔直径を有し、触媒の乾燥重量を基準にして、350〜1900平方メートル/グラムの表面積を有するポリマー吸着剤ビーズの形態である、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 触媒が熱分解される、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記イオン交換樹脂が、
1〜85%のポリビニル芳香族モノマー単位
0〜10%の非芳香族架橋性モノマー単位及び
15〜99%のモノ不飽和ビニル芳香族モノマー単位
を含む、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。 - 前記イオン交換樹脂が、
1〜85%のポリビニル芳香族モノマー単位
0〜10%の非芳香族架橋性モノマー単位及び
15〜99%のモノ不飽和ビニル芳香族モノマー単位
のみからなる、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。 - 非芳香族架橋性モノマー単位の量が0%である、請求項6に記載の触媒組成物。
