Description
本発明は、自動車分野、風力発電設備、並びに加工機及び工作機械において使用され且つ水との絶え間ない接触に曝されている、部品の保護処理のためのイオン液体ベースのグリース組成物に関する。特に本発明は、この潤滑剤を備えた部品を酸化及び腐食に対して保護するために、少なくとも−30℃〜少なくとも180℃の温度範囲において使用される、耐水性のグリース組成物に関する。
(a)40〜95質量%のイオン性液体
(b)5〜60質量%の耐水性の増粘剤及び
(c)0.1〜10質量%の添加剤
を含有する。
以下で、2種のイオン性液体とそれらのグリース配合物とを相互に比較する。
MBPイミド及び比較のHDPイミドをベースとしたグリースのDIN51807第1部による耐水性
両方のILを、PTFE粉末でグリースコンシステンシーまで増大させ(撹拌導入、ロール練り)且つ3h/90℃においてDIN51807第1部に相応して試験する。HDPイミドを有するグリース試料は、溶解又は分離の徴候を示さず且つ0(=極めて良い)と評価される。MBPイミドを有するグリース試料の場合、ストリップの分離が生じる。試験媒体である水の冷却後、高温でのMBPイミドの部分的な溶解によって生じる濁りが観察される。従って試験は3(=悪い)と評価される。
MBPイミド及びHDPイミドの標準添加剤の溶解性
次の3種の防食添加剤を、上記ILの溶解性について試験した:
コハク酸ヘミエステル、オキサゾリン誘導体及び酢酸誘導体。全ての物質は室温で1%までHDPイミドに可溶である。約150℃に加熱した後、オキサゾリン誘導体のみがMBPイミドに溶解するが、冷却の際に再び分離する。
酸化防止剤の実施例のHDPイミドにおける標準添加剤の効果
1%のp,p’−ジアルキル−ジフェニルアミンを酸化防止剤としてHDPイミド中に溶解させる。混合物は室温での長時間の静置後も透明のままである。表1に記載するような条件下での酸素下のDSC運転の際に、酸化開始は223℃である。従って、この値を添加剤なしのHDPイミドと比較する場合、55℃の上昇がある。
HDPイミドをベースとするグリース組成物の効果
通常の添加剤を、防食性及び酸化安定性の改善のためにHDPイミドに溶解させる。この場合、これは亜鉛含有の防食添加剤及びアミン性酸化防止剤である。更に不溶性の亜鉛含有の防食顔料を使用する。混合物は、常法によりPTFE粉末でグリースコンシステンシーまで増大させる。混合物について表2に示される試験結果が得られる:
イオン性液体の混合物の耐水性に関する挙動
両方のILに関して異なる含量を有する混合物がHDPイミド及びMBPイミドから製造される。混合物は約30%のPTFE粉末により濃縮され且つロール練りによって均一化されるので、稠度2に相応する浸透を有するグリースが得られる。グリースはその静的耐水性に関して及び部分的に動的耐水性に関して試験される。この結果を表4に示す。
この配合物において89%のHDPイミドと10%リチウム−12−ヒドロキシステアラート(石けん増粘剤)とを混合し且つ溶融物中に導入する。冷却後に、1%の通常のアミン性酸化防止剤を添加する。この混合物を、ロールミルを介して数度の強力なロール練りによって均一化する。
HPDイミドの分離部分においてシクロヘキシルアミン及びビス(パライソシアナトフェニル)メタン(MDI)を2:1のモル比で溶解させ且つこれらの溶液を合することによって反応させる。180℃まで加熱した後に引き続き冷却し、1%の典型的なアミン性酸化防止剤を添加し且つグリースを、ロールミルを介してロール練りにより均一化する。
Claims (23)
- −30℃〜180℃の温度での腐食及び酸化の防止のために、
(a)カチオンが第4級アンモニウムカチオン及びホスホニウムカチオンからなる群から選択され且つアニオンがビス(パーフルオロアルキルスルホニル)イミド、ビス(パーフルオロアリール)イミド及びトリス(パーフルオロアルキル)トリフルオロホスフェートからなる群から選択されるイオン性液体60〜90質量%、その際、前記イオン性液体のカチオンが8〜25個の炭素原子を有する長い疎水性アルキル基、アリール基又はアルキルアリール基を有し、カチオンの全ての疎水性アルキル基、アリール基又はアルキルアリール基が15〜60個の炭素原子を含有し且つ−30℃よりも低い融点を有する、
(b)通常の可溶性潤滑剤添加剤0.1〜10質量%及び
(c)耐水性増粘剤5〜60質量%
を有する耐水性グリース組成物を適用することを有する、水との接触に曝される部材を保護処理する方法。 - 前記グリース組成物のイオン性液体が、トリヘキシルテトラデシルホスホニウムビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド(HDPイミド)、メチルトリオクチルアンモニウムビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド(Moイミド)、及びトリヘキシルテトラデシルホスホニウムトリス(パーフルオロエチル)トリフルオロホスフェートからなる群から選択される化合物を有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記グリース組成物は、単独のイオン性液体又は2種以上のイオン性液体からなる混合物を有し、その際、前記2種以上のイオン性液体からなる混合物は、前記イオン性液体(a)と、前記イオン性液体(a)とは異なる1種以上の第2のイオン性液体からなり、前記第2のイオン性液体が必ずしも耐水性である必要はない、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記イオン性液体(a)対第2のイオン性液体の混合の比率が75〜95%対5〜25%の範囲内である、請求項3記載の方法。
- 第2のイオン性液体が、任意のカチオンを有する、ビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド、ビス(フルオロアリール)イミド、トリス(パーフルオロアルキル)トリホスフェート及びフッ素化アルキルスルホネートからなる群から選択されるフッ素化アニオンであるか、又は、任意のアニオンを有する、第四級アンモニウムカチオン及びホスホニウムカチオンとからなる群から選択される15〜60個の炭素原子を有する疎水性基を有するカチオンを有する、請求項3又は4記載の方法。
- 前記添加剤が、腐食防止剤、酸化防止剤、摩耗防止剤、極圧添加剤、摩擦低減剤、金属の影響に対する保護剤、UV安定剤、無機又は有機の固体潤滑剤からなる群から選択され、該固体潤滑剤がポリイミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、グラファイト、金属酸化物、窒化ホウ素、二硫化モリブデン及びホスフェートから選択される、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記酸化防止剤が、芳香族アミン、フェノール及び硫黄担体の群から選択される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記腐食防止剤が、芳香族複素環式化合物、スルホン酸塩、有機酸及び有機塩の群から選択される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記極圧添加剤、摩耗防止剤及び摩擦低減剤が、ホスフェート、硫黄担体、リン及び硫黄含有化合物、ホウ素含有化合物及び複素環式化合物からなる群から選択される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記グリース組成物の前記耐水性増粘剤が、PTFE、ベントナイト、エアロジル、非水溶性カルボン酸塩及び/又はそれらの混合物、非水溶性スルホン酸塩及びそれらの混合物、尿素、カーボンブラック、グラファイト、金属酸化物及び/又はそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記グリース組成物は、イオン性液体(a)としてトリアルキルテトラデシルホスホニウムカチオン及びフッ素化されたアニオンからなる化合物を有し、前記化合物は前記耐水性増粘剤及び前記可溶性潤滑剤添加剤と組み合わせて使用される、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記部材は、酸化及び腐食の保護のための、並びに保護膜の耐水性を改善するための、自動車部材、風力発電所の部材、加工機及び工作機械における、並びに家庭用品における部品から選択される、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 次の:
(a)カチオンが第4級アンモニウムカチオン及びホスホニウムカチオンからなる群から選択され且つアニオンがビス(パーフルオロアルキルスルホニル)イミド、ビス(パーフルオロアリール)イミド及びトリス(パーフルオロアルキル)トリフルオロホスフェートからなる群から選択されるイオン性液体60〜90質量%、その際、前記イオン性液体のカチオンが8〜25個の炭素原子を有する長い疎水性アルキル基、アリール基又はアルキルアリール基を有し、カチオンの全ての疎水性アルキル基、アリール基又はアルキルアリール基が15〜60個の炭素原子を含有し且つ−30℃よりも低い融点を有する、
(b)通常の可溶性潤滑剤添加剤0.1〜10質量%及び
(c)耐水性増粘剤5〜60質量%
を有する耐水性グリース組成物。 - 前記イオン性液体が、トリヘキシルテトラデシルホスホニウムビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド(HDPイミド)、メチルトリオクチルアンモニウムビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド(Moイミド)、及びトリヘキシルテトラデシルホスホニウムトリス(パーフルオロエチル)トリフルオロホスフェートからなる群から選択される化合物を有する請求項13記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記グリース組成物は、単独のイオン性液体又は2種以上のイオン性液体からなる混合物を有し、その際、前記2種以上のイオン性液体からなる混合物は、前記イオン性液体(a)と、前記イオン性液体(a)とは異なる1種以上の第2のイオン性液体からなり、前記第2のイオン性液体が必ずしも耐水性である必要はない、請求項13又は14記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記イオン性液体(a)対第2のイオン性液体の混合の比率が75〜95%対5〜25%の範囲内である、請求項15記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 第2のイオン性液体が、任意のカチオンを有する、ビス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)イミド、ビス(フルオロアリール)イミド、トリス(パーフルオロアルキル)トリホスフェート及びフッ素化アルキルスルホネートからなる群から選択されるフッ素化アニオンであるか、又は、任意のアニオンを有する、第四級アンモニウムカチオン及びホスホニウムカチオンとからなる群から選択される15〜60個の炭素原子を有する疎水性基を有するカチオンを有する、請求項15又は16記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記添加剤が、腐食防止剤、酸化防止剤、摩耗防止剤、極圧添加剤、摩擦低減剤、金属の影響に対する保護剤、UV安定剤、無機又は有機の固体潤滑剤からなる群から選択され、該固体潤滑剤がポリイミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、グラファイト、金属酸化物、窒化ホウ素、二硫化モリブデン及びホスフェートから選択される、請求項13から17までのいずれか1項記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記酸化防止剤が、芳香族アミン、フェノール及び硫黄担体の群から選択される、請求項18までのいずれか1項記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記腐食防止剤が、芳香族複素環式化合物、スルホン酸塩、有機酸及び有機塩の群から選択される、請求項18までのいずれか1項記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記極圧添加剤、摩耗防止剤及び摩擦低減剤が、ホスフェート、硫黄担体、リン及び硫黄含有化合物、ホウ素含有化合物及び複素環式化合物からなる群から選択される、請求項18記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記グリース組成物の前記耐水性増粘剤が、PTFE、ベントナイト、エアロジル、非水溶性カルボン酸塩及び/又はそれらの混合物、非水溶性スルホン酸塩及びそれらの混合物、尿素、カーボンブラック、グラファイト、金属酸化物及び/又はそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項13から21までのいずれか1項記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
- 前記グリース組成物は、イオン性液体(a)としてトリアルキルテトラデシルホスホニウムカチオン及びフッ素化されたアニオンからなる化合物を有し、前記化合物は前記耐水性増粘剤及び前記可溶性潤滑剤添加剤と組み合わせて使用される、請求項13から22までのいずれか1項記載の耐水性グリース組成物。
