Description
8μmの平均粒子サイズを有する粘土0〜15重量%を連続式2軸押出機のホッパー110に投入し、ポリアミド樹脂は、粘土の含量によって混合物の全体含量が100重量%となるように85〜100重量%を前記ホッパー110に投入した。
ポリアミド樹脂78.0〜98.0重量%と8μmの平均粒子サイズを有する粘土2.0重量%を連続式2軸押出機のホッパー110に投入した。
ポリアミド樹脂76.3〜96.3重量%と、8μmの平均粒子サイズを有する粘土2重量%と、炭素ナノチューブ1.7重量%を連続式2軸押出機のホッパー110に投入した。
ポリアミド樹脂72.0〜92.0重量%と、8μmの平均粒子サイズを有する粘土2重量%と、カーボンブラック6重量%を連続式2軸押出機のホッパー110に投入した。
ポリアミド樹脂73.0〜78.0重量%と8μmの平均粒子サイズを有する粘土2〜7重量%を連続式2軸押出機のホッパー110に投入した。
ASTM D648によって試験片に18.6kgf/cm2の荷重を付加し、周辺流体温度を2℃/minの速度で上昇させた時、試験片の変形が0.254mmに達した時の温度を測定した。
ASTMD790によってクロスヘッドスピード(cross head speed)を5mm/minの試験速度で測定した。
ASTM D638に準じて温度23±2℃、相対湿度50%及び大気圧の条件で5mm/minの引張速度で測定した。延伸率は、破断点での値を記録し、最小5回以上測定して平均値で示した。
ASTM D256に準じて試験片が破断される時のエネルギーを単位厚さで分けたものが衝撃強度に該当する。衝撃強度は、1/8インチ厚さを有する試験片を利用して測定し、最小5回以上測定して平均値で示し、常温でアイゾッドノット(izod notch)方法で測定した。
金属バスバー(metal bus bar)が連結された電気抵抗計(OHM meter)を利用して単位面積当たり表面抵抗を測定した。

Claims (17)
- 連続式押出機において、
螺旋状スクリュー形態のシャフト構造よりなり、ホッパーを通じて投入されたポリマー樹脂と添加原料を溶融しながら圧縮する溶融及び圧縮領域と、
溶融及び圧縮された溶融物圧縮及びせん断応力によってポリマー樹脂に添加原料を分散させながら吐出領域にフローさせる1つの分散領域と、
ポリマー樹脂に前記添加原料が分散された組成物を吐出する吐出ダイと、からなり、
前記分散領域は、ポリマー樹脂および添加原料との押し出し方向に対して上流側であって、前記押し出し方向に向けて徐々に拡径するようにテーパー付けされた圧縮部と、前記圧縮部の大径部側と隣接して形成され、前記圧縮部の大径部と同一径を有するせん断部と、ポリマー樹脂および添加原料との押し出し方向に対して下流側であって、前記押し出し方向に向けて徐々に縮径するようにテーパー付けされたリリース部からなるシャフト構造よりなり、前記分散領域でせん断部のシャフトの直径に対するシャフトの長さの比は、20〜60の範囲にあり、
前記リリース部のテーパー角は、−1〜−40゜の範囲にあることを特徴とする連続式押出機。 - 前記圧縮部のテーパー角は1〜40゜を成すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記分散領域でシリンダーとシャフトとの間隔は、せん断部のシャフト直径の1/20〜1/60の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記分散領域でシリンダーと最も近い前記せん断部とシリンダーとの間隔は、せん断部のシャフト直径の1/40〜1/60の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 順次にせん断応力を増加させるために、前記分散領域でのシャフトは、前記圧縮部及び前記せん断部が少なくとも2回繰り返される階段式構造よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記分散領域のシャフトは、前記圧縮部の上流側にせん断部がさらに設けられ、せん断部と、圧縮部及びせん断部が順次に設けられた構造よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記せん断部は、シャフトの直径偏差が5%内の屈曲を有する形態よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記分散領域のシャフトは、前記圧縮部の上流側、またはリリース部の下流側にせん断部がさらに設けられた構造よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記分散領域のシャフトは、ポリマー樹脂および添加原料との押し出し方向に対して下流側であって、前記押し出し方向に向けて徐々に縮径するようにテーパー付けされたリリース部をさらに含み、前記分散領域は、圧縮部と、せん断部及びリリース部が少なくとも2回繰り返されるシャフト構造よりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記溶融及び圧縮領域で螺旋状スクリューの直径に対する螺旋状スクリューの長さの比は、20〜40の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記溶融及び圧縮領域で螺旋状スクリューのねじれ角(Helix Angle)は、20〜60゜であり、螺旋状スクリューのピッチは、3〜15cmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 螺旋状スクリュー形態のシャフト構造よりなり、前記ポリマー樹脂に分散された組成物を吐出ダイで吐出する吐出領域をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記吐出領域で螺旋状スクリューの直径に対する螺旋状スクリューの長さの比は、20〜40の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記吐出領域で螺旋状スクリューのねじれ角(Helix Angle)は、20〜60゜であり、螺旋状スクリューのピッチは、3〜15cmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の連続式押出機。
- シャフトの軸と直交する方向に階段式スクリューが形成され、このような階段式スクリューが一定のピッチで繰り返された構造を有するニーディング領域をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
- 前記ニーディング領域は、第1プレート部と、前記第1プレートより1階段高い位置の第2プレート部及び前記第2プレートより1階段高い位置の第3プレート部が階段式に形成されたスクリューよりなり、前記スクリューが一定のピッチで繰り返されて形成されたことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の連続式押出機。
- 溶融及び圧縮されて分散される過程の組成物に2次原料をサイドフィーディング方式で注入するためのサイドフィーディング注入口がさらに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続式押出機。
