Claims (3)
- 親水性の繊維を集合させた不織布からなり燃料中の水分を凝集させる凝集エレメント(31)と、
前記凝集エレメント(31)よりも燃料流れ下流側に配置されるとともに、撥水機能を有する撥水エレメント(32、33)と、
前記撥水エレメント(32、33)よりも燃料流れ下流側に配置されるとともに、燃料中のダストを捕捉する濾過エレメント(34)と、
前記凝集エレメント(31)および前記撥水エレメント(32、33)の下方に位置して水を貯留するセジメンタ室(25)とを備え、
前記凝集エレメント(31)は、菊花状に形成され、
前記撥水エレメント(32、33)は、前記凝集エレメント(31)の内側に配置され、
前記濾過エレメント(34)は、ハニカム構造で円柱状に形成されるとともに、前記凝集エレメント(31)の内側で且つ前記撥水エレメント(32、33)の上方に配置され、
燃料が、前記凝集エレメント(31)の外周側から内周側に流れ、続いて前記撥水エレメント(32、33)を通過した後に、前記濾過エレメント(34)の下方側から上方側に流れるように構成されている燃料フィルタ装置であって、
前記濾過エレメント(34)の下面側が、前記撥水エレメント(33)にて覆われており、
前記撥水エレメント(33)は、前記濾過エレメント(34)の中心軸に対向する位置に、燃料を通過させるオリフィス(331)を備えていることを特徴とする燃料フィルタ装置。 - 前記凝集エレメント(31)における不織布の孔径は10μm以上40μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料フィルタ装置。
- 前記凝集エレメント(31)にて90%以上捕捉可能なダストの粒子径をAとし、前記濾過エレメント(34)の濾過面積に対する前記凝集エレメント(31)の濾過面積の比率をPとし、補正係数をKとしたとき、
P=0.0004×A2−0.04×A+Kであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料フィルタ装置。
