Description
Claims (15)
- 中空の流体処理パックと、第1のエンドキャップおよび第2のエンドキャップと、ばね付勢式電気接触装置とを備える、筐体に取付可能な流体処理要素であって、
前記流体処理パックが、第1の軸線方向端部および第2の軸線方向端部を有し、前記流体処理パックが、上流側面および下流側面を有する多孔性流体処理メディアを含み、
前記第1のエンドキャップおよび前記第2のエンドキャップがそれぞれ、前記多孔性流体処理メディアを介して前記上流側面から前記下流側面に流体を方向付けるように、前記流体処理パックの前記第1の軸線方向端部および前記第2の軸線方向端部に取り付けられ、前記第1のエンドキャップおよび前記第2のエンドキャップの少なくとも一方が、前記流体処理パックから遠ざかる方向を向いた外面と、前記流体処理パックの方向を向いた内面とを有し、
前記ばね式電気接触装置が、前記少なくとも一方のエンドキャップに取り付けられ、前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置が、ばねと、前記流体処理パックおよび前記エンドキャップの少なくとも一方に電気的に結合された可動導電ピンとを有し、前記可動導電ピンが接触面を有し、前記接触面が、当該エンドキャップの前記外面から遠い第1位置と、前記接触面が当該エンドキャップの前記外面に近い第2位置との間で移動可能であり、前記ばねが、前記導電ピンを前記第1位置の方向に偏倚させて前記接触面を前記筐体の導電部と電気的に接触させるように構成され、前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置が、前記ばねおよび前記可動導電ピンの少なくとも一部分を収容するケーシングをさらに含んでいる、流体処理要素。 - 前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置が、前記流体処理パックおよび前記エンドキャップの少なくとも一方に電気的に接続される導電体をさらに含み、前記可動導電ピンが前記導電体に電気的に結合される、請求項1に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記エンドキャップの前記外面が軸線方向を向き、前記可動ピンが前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間を軸線方向に移動する、請求項1または2に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記エンドキャップの前記外面が半径方向を向き、前記可動ピンが前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間を半径方向に移動する、請求項1または2に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記導電ピンが前記エンドキャップを介して前記外面と前記内面との間に延びる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記可動導電ピンが球状接触面を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素。
- 筐体と、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素とを備える流体処理アセンブリであって、
前記筐体が、流体入口および流体出口を有し、該筐体内で前記入口と前記出口との間に流体流路を画定し、前記流体処理要素が、前記筐体内で前記流体流路を横切って配置され、前記ばねが前記可動ピンの前記接触面を前記筐体の導電部に押し付ける、流体処理アセンブリ。 - 前記筐体が着脱自在のボウルを備え、前記ばねが前記可動ピンの前記接触面を前記ボウルの金属部に押し付ける、請求項7に記載の流体処理アセンブリ。
- 中空の流体処理パックと、第1のエンドキャップおよび第2のエンドキャップと、ばね付勢式電気接触装置とを備える、流体を処理するための流体処理要素であって、
前記流体処理パックが、内周面と、外周面と、第1の軸線方向端部および第2の軸線方向端部と、複数の軸線方向に延びる襞とを有し、前記襞の各々が、折返し部と、前記折返し部から前記内周面と前記外周面との間に延びる第1の襞脚および第2襞脚とを有し、前記襞付きの前記流体処理パックが、上流側面と下流側面とを有する1層の多孔性流体処理メディアと、前記多孔性流体処理メディアの前記上流側面および前記下流側面の一方にある導電性多孔性金属層とを含む襞付き多層複合体を備えてなり、
前記第1のエンドキャップおよび前記第2のエンドキャップがそれぞれ、前記多孔性流体処理メディアを介して前記上流側面から前記下流側面に流体を方向付けるように、前記流体処理パックの前記第1の軸線方向端部および前記第2の軸線方向端部に取り付けられ、前記第1のエンドキャップおよび前記第2のエンドキャップの少なくとも一方が、前記流体処理パックから遠ざかる方向を向いた外面を有し、
前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置が、前記少なくとも一方のエンドキャップに取り付けられ、前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置が、導電体と、ばねと、可動電気接点とを含み、前記導電体が、前記流体処理パックの前記襞内を前記第1の襞脚および前記第2の襞脚の少なくとも一方に沿って延び、かつ、前記多孔性金属層に電気的に結合され、前記可動電気接点が、当該エンドキャップの外面を越えて延び、かつ、当該エンドキャップの外面に近づいたり遠ざかったりするように移動可能であり、前記可動電気接点が、前記導電体に電気的に結合され、前記ばねが、前記電気接点を偏倚させて前記エンドキャップの外面から遠ざけるようになっている、流体処理要素。 - 前記少なくとも一方のエンドキャップの前記外面が軸線方向を向き、前記電気接点が前記外面に近づいたり遠ざかったりするように軸線方向に移動する、請求項9に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記少なくとも一方のエンドキャップの前記外面が半径方向を向き、前記電気接点が前記外面に近づいたり遠ざかったりするように半径方向に移動する、請求項9に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置の前記導電体が、前記ばねおよび前記電気接点の少なくとも一部分を収容する金属ケーシングを含み、前記金属ケーシングが前記襞内で前記少なくとも一方のエンドキャップから延びて前記流体処理パックの前記多孔性金属層と接触する、請求項9〜11のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素。
- 前記流体電気接点が球状接触面を有する、請求項9〜12のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素。
- 筐体と、請求項9〜13のいずれか一項に記載の流体処理要素とを備える流体処理アセンブリであって、
前記筐体が、流体入口と流体出口とを有し、前記筐体内で前記入口と前記出口との間に流体流路を画定し、前記流体処理要素が前記筐体内で前記流体流路を横切って配置され、前記ばね付勢式電気接触装置の前記ばねが前記電気接点を前記筐体の導電部に押し付ける、流体処理アセンブリ。 - 前記筐体が着脱自在のボウルを備え、前記ばねが前記電気接点を前記ボウルの金属部に押し付ける、請求項14に記載の流体処理アセンブリ。
