Claims (13)
- 通信相手の現在の受信品質を求める情報処理装置から受信した受信信号に基づいて、所定のチャンネルの品質を示すチャンネル品質情報を生成するチャンネル品質情報生成手段と、
前記情報処理装置から受信した受信信号に基づいて、前記情報処理装置の送信電力を制御する送信電力制御情報を生成する送信電力制御情報生成手段と、
前記チャンネル品質情報が、所定のフレームを単位とした第1の周期で送信されるように、前記チャンネル品質情報を、前記情報処理装置への送信信号に挿入するチャンネル品質情報挿入手段と、
前記送信電力制御情報が、所定のスロットを単位とした、前記第1の周期よりも短い第2の周期で送信されるように、前記送信電力制御情報を、前記送信信号に挿入する送信電力制御情報挿入手段と、
信号の送受信を行うためのアンテナと、
前記チャンネル品質情報および前記送信電力制御情報が挿入された前記送信信号を、前記アンテナから電波として送信する送信手段と、
前記情報処理装置から、前記第1の周期を指定する周期指定情報を、DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel)を介して受信する周期指定情報受信手段と、
前記周期指定情報受信手段が受信した前記周期指定情報に応じて、前記第1の周期を更新する送信周期更新手段と
を備える通信装置。 - 前記送信周期更新手段は、ソフトハンドオフ状態である場合に、前記第1の周期を更新する
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記チャンネル品質情報によって品質が示される第1のチャンネルと、前記送信電力制御情報によって送信電力が制御される第2のチャンネルとは、異なるチャンネルである
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記第1のチャンネルは、DSCH(Down Link Shared Channel)である
請求項3に記載の通信装置。 - 前記第2のチャンネルは、DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel)である
請求項3に記載の通信装置。 - 前記情報処理装置との間で行われる通信は、CDMA方式による通信である
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 通信相手の現在の受信品質を求める情報処理装置から受信した受信信号に基づいて、所定のチャンネルの品質を示すチャンネル品質情報を生成するチャンネル品質情報生成ステップと、
前記情報処理装置から受信した受信信号に基づいて、前記情報処理装置の送信電力を制御する送信電力制御情報を生成する送信電力制御情報生成ステップと、
前記チャンネル品質情報が、所定のフレームを単位とした第1の周期で送信されるように、前記チャンネル品質情報を、前記情報処理装置への送信信号に挿入するチャンネル品質情報挿入ステップと、
前記送信電力制御情報が、所定のスロットを単位とした、前記第1の周期よりも短い第2の周期で送信されるように、前記送信電力制御情報を、前記送信信号に挿入する送信電力制御情報挿入ステップと、
前記チャンネル品質情報および前記送信電力制御情報が挿入された前記送信信号を、信号の送受信を行うためのアンテナから電波として送信する送信ステップと、
前記情報処理装置から、前記第1の周期を指定する周期指定情報を、DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel)を介して受信する周期指定情報受信ステップと、
前記周期指定情報受信ステップの処理により受信された前記周期指定情報に応じて、前記第1の周期を更新する送信周期更新ステップと
を含む通信方法。 - 前記通信装置から送信されてくる電波をアンテナが受信することで得られる受信信号であって、前記通信装置において生成された所定のチャンネルの品質を示すチャンネル品質情報が、所定のフレームを単位とした第1の周期で送信されてくるように挿入されるとともに、送信電力を制御する送信電力制御情報が、所定のスロットを単位とした、前記第1の周期よりも短い第2の周期で送信されてくるように挿入された受信信号としてのスペクトル拡散信号を増幅し、スペクトル逆拡散する受信手段と、
前記受信信号から、前記チャンネル品質情報を抽出するチャンネル品質情報抽出手段と、
前記受信信号から、前記送信電力制御情報を抽出する送信電力制御情報抽出手段と、
前記チャンネル品質情報と送信電力制御情報の両方に基づいて、前記通信装置における現在の受信品質を推定する受信品質推定手段と、
前記通信装置に対して、前記第1の周期を指定する周期指定情報を、DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel)を介して送信する周期指定情報送信手段と
を備え、
前記周期指定情報送信手段は、前記通信装置がソフトハンドオフ状態である場合に、前記通信装置に対して、前記周期指定情報を送信する
情報処理装置。 - 前記チャンネル品質情報によって品質が示される第1のチャンネルと、前記送信電力制
御情報によって送信電力が制御される第2のチャンネルとは、異なるチャンネルである
請求項8に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記第1のチャンネルは、DSCH(Down Link Shared Channel)である
請求項9に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記第2のチャンネルは、DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel)である
請求項9に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記通信装置との間で行われる通信は、CDMA方式による通信である
請求項8に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記通信装置から送信されてくる電波をアンテナが受信することで得られる受信信号であって、前記通信装置において生成された所定のチャンネルの品質を示すチャンネル品質情報が、所定のフレームを単位とした第1の周期で送信されてくるように挿入されるとともに、送信電力を制御する送信電力制御情報が、所定のスロットを単位とした、前記第1の周期よりも短い第2の周期で送信されてくるように挿入された受信信号としてのスペクトル拡散信号を増幅し、スペクトル逆拡散する受信ステップと、
前記受信信号から、前記チャンネル品質情報を抽出するチャンネル品質情報抽出ステップと、
前記受信信号から、前記送信電力制御情報を抽出する送信電力制御情報抽出ステップと、
前記チャンネル品質情報と送信電力制御情報の両方に基づいて、前記通信装置における現在の受信品質を推定する受信品質推定ステップと、
前記通信装置に対して、前記第1の周期を指定する周期指定情報を、DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel)を介して送信する周期指定情報送信ステップと
を含み、
前記周期指定情報送信ステップは、前記通信装置がソフトハンドオフ状態である場合に、前記通信装置に対して、前記周期指定情報を送信する
