Claims (7)
- 実質的に、平均粒径が0.5mm以下の炭素質原料と平均粒径が350μm以下のアルミナ質原料とからなり、かつ炭素質原料とアルミナ質原料のモル比(C/Al2O3)が0.8〜2.0の範囲である配合物を、C成分のばらつきが±10%以内、かつ、前記C成分のばらつきの評価のときに当該配合物からサンプリングしたサンプルのモル比(C/Al 2 O 3 )がいずれも0.8〜2.0の範囲となるように均一に混合し、この配合物を1850℃以上でアーク炉で溶融するアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物の製造方法。
- 炭素質原料の平均粒径が0.5mm以下0.5μm以上、及びアルミナ質原料の平均粒径が350μm以下0.5μm以上である請求項1に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物の製造方法。
- 炭素質原料とアルミナ質原料のモル比(C/Al2O3)が1.0〜1.8の範囲である請求項1又は請求項2に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物の製造方法。
- アーク炉で製造されたアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物であって、化学成分はCとAl2O3の合量が95質量%以上であり、鉱物相としてはAl4O4Cが45質量%以上、その他の鉱物相が10質量%以下、及び残部がコランダムからなり、しかも学振法4によるマグネシアクリンカーの消化試験方法での粉化率が3質量%以下であるアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
- 見掛け気孔率が3.5%以下である請求項4に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
- 見掛け比重が3.20以下、及び化学成分としてCが2.5質量%以上5.5質量%以下である請求項4又は請求項5に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
- 炭素含有耐火物に使用される請求項4、請求項5又は請求項6に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
