Description
試料セル50及び基準セル40を有し、試料セル50には試料セルステム180を介してアクセス可能であり、基準セル40には基準セルステム170を介してアクセス可能である、マイクロ熱量計20と、
滴定剤を供給するために試料セル50内へ挿入されるように構成された滴定針210を有するシリンジ200を備え、シリンジ200内のプランジャ230を駆動するためのリニアアクティベータ220を備える自動ピペットアセンブリ30と、
ピペットアセンブリ30を支持し、滴定動作位置、洗浄動作位置及び充填動作位置にピペットを配置するように構成されたピペット平行移動ユニット310と、
滴定針210のための洗浄ステーション320と、
ピペット30が滴定位置以外の位置に配置されたとき、試料セル50内で試料液を交換するための動作を実施するように構成されたセル準備ユニット330と
を備える自動等温滴定マイクロ熱量計(ITC)システム300が提供される。
滴定針が試料セル50に挿入された状態での滴定、
滴定針が、組み合わされた洗浄/充填ステーション320に挿入された状態での洗浄及び充填
のためにピペット30を定位置に配置するように構成される。
停止ユニット660(図5a)を作動させる段階と、
停止ユニット660が位置合せ部材650(図5b)に当接することによって、更なる回転が防止されるまで、所定の方向にゆっくりとシリンジを回転させる段階と、
充填ポート500(図5c)に連結するように連結部材550を作動させる段階と
を備える。
液体取扱い順序の例は次の段階を含む。
セル洗浄:
a セル套管400がセル40、50内へ挿入され、底部で停止する。
ピペット洗浄:
a ピペット30が洗浄/充填ステーション320内に配置され、充填ポート500が連結される。
セル装着:
a 滴定試料が試料トレー450又は試料リザーバ430a〜cからセル套管400内へ引かれる。次いでそれは、気泡を防止するためにゆっくりとセル内へ分注される。適宜、試料は、セル50内へ移送される前に試料準備ステーション420内へ分注されて、加熱及び混合(脱気)される。
ピペット装着:
a 滴定剤が試料トレー450から滴定移送套管470内へ引かれ、洗浄/充填ステーション320内へ分注される。
滴定移送洗浄:
a 滴定移送套管470が洗浄/充填ステーション320内に配置され、水ですすがれ、次いで、メタノールですすがれ、ピペットのシリンジ200が洗浄及び乾燥されるのとまったく同じやり方で乾燥される。
Claims (15)
- 試料セル及び基準セルを有するマイクロ熱量計であって、前記試料セルには試料セルステムを介してアクセス可能であり、前記基準セルには基準セルステムを介してアクセス可能である、マイクロ熱量計と、
滴定剤を供給するために前記試料セル内へ挿入されるように構成された滴定針を有するシリンジを備える自動ピペットアセンブリであって、前記シリンジ内のプランジャを駆動するためのアクティベータを備える自動ピペットアセンブリと、
前記ピペットアセンブリを支持し、滴定位置、洗浄位置及び充填位置にピペットを配置するように構成されたピペット平行移動ユニットと、
前記滴定針のための洗浄ステーションと、
前記ピペットが前記滴定位置以外の位置に配置されたとき、前記試料セル内で前記試料液を交換するための動作を実施するように構成されたセル準備ユニットと
を備える自動等温滴定マイクロ熱量計(ITC)システム。 - 前記洗浄ステーションは、前記ピペットアセンブリが洗浄位置に配置されたとき、前記滴定針の、少なくとも滴定中に前記試料内に浸漬される部分を受容するように構成された洗浄空洞を備え、前記洗浄ステーションが、廃棄物流体システムに連結された前記洗浄空洞の底端部に廃棄物出口ポートを備える、請求項1記載の自動ITCシステム。
- 前記廃棄物流体システムが、前記洗浄ステーションから流体を選択的に抜き取るための廃棄物ポンプを備える、請求項2記載の自動ITCシステム。
- 前記シリンジがその上方部分に充填ポートを備え、前記プランジャが前記充填ポート上方に位置決めされたとき、前記シリンジ空洞との間に流体接触をもたらし、
前記自動ITCシステムが、前記充填ポートに選択的に連結するように構成された充填ポート連結ユニットを備え、それによって、前記シリンジ空洞と、前記シリンジを通して液体又は気体を選択的に引く、又は、押すためのシリンジ流体システムとの間に流体接触をもたらす、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の自動ITCシステム。 - 前記シリンジが、前記自動ピペットに対して回転可能であり、攪拌モータによって回転駆動され、前記充填ポート連結ユニットは、連結部材が前記充填ポートと位置合わせされたとき、所定の角度位置で前記シリンジの回転を防止するように構成されたポート位置合せ機構を備える、請求項4記載の自動ITCシステム。
- 前記ピペットが前記洗浄ステーションに配置されたとき、前記シリンジ空洞と前記シリンジ流体システムとの間を連結できるように、前記充填ポート連結ユニットが前記洗浄ステーションに配置される、請求項4又は請求項5記載の自動ITCシステム。
- 前記シリンジ流体システムが、
前記シリンジの前記充填ポートをパージ気体源及びシリンジ充填ポンプに連結し、かつ
前記シリンジ充填ポンプを1つ以上の洗浄液リザーバ及び廃棄物出口に連結する
ことが可能なシリンジ充填弁構成体を備える、請求項4乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の自動ITCシステム。 - 前記シリンジ流体システムが、前記ピペットの前記滴定針が前記洗浄空洞内に配置されたとき、前記シリンジ充填ポートを介して前記シリンジ及び前記滴定針を通して1つ以上の洗浄液を押すことによって前記シリンジ及び前記滴定針を洗浄するように構成されている、請求項7記載の自動ITCシステム。
- 前記アクティベータがリニアアクティベータであって、前記シリンジ流体システムが、前記滴定針が挿入される前記シリンジ内へ滴定剤源から、所定の体積の滴定剤を引くことによって、滴定剤で前記シリンジを充填するように構成されており、前記所定の体積が、前記シリンジを過充填するために前記シリンジ体積よりもより大きくなるように選択され、前記リニアアクティベータが、その後で、前記充填ポートの下方に前記プランジャを位置決めして、前記充填ポートを閉じるように構成されている、請求項4乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の自動ITCシステム。
