B-R-A
式中、Bは、NO2、NH2、SiOH又は(RCO)2O(ここで、RはC1〜10のアルキレン基、C1〜10のハロアルキレン基、C6〜12のアリーレン基である。)の中から選ばれる1種以上であり;
Rは、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、R、OR、SR、COR、OCOR、NRR'、CONRR'を示し、ここでRとR'は、各々C1〜10のアルキレン基、C1〜10のハロアルキレン基、C6〜12のアリーレン基であり、上記RとR'は共に環を形成することもでき;
AはNCO又はCNから選ばれるものである。

B-R-A
リチウムイオン電池の電解液としてEC:DMC:EMC=3:4:3の溶媒、溶質としてLiPF6を1モルおよびニトロフェニルイソシアネート0.5重量%を添加したものを使用した。電池の負極として天然黒鉛系、正極活物質としてマンガンスピネル、分離膜としてPE/PP/PE分離膜を使用した。上記電解質、負極、正極および分離膜で単位セル電池を構成した。
電解液の溶質中にニトロフェニルイソシアネートの代わりに、エチルイソシアネートを使用したことを除いて、実施例1と同一な方法で単位セル電池を製造した。
電解液の溶質中にニトロフェニルイソシアネートの代わりに、ベンジルイソシアネートを使用したことを除いて、実施例1と同一な方法で単位セル電池を製造した。
電解液の溶質中にニトロフェニルイソシアネートの代わりに、ビニルカーボネートを使用したことを除いて、実施例1と同一な方法で単位セル電池を製造した。
電解液の溶質中にニトロフェニルイソシアネートの代わりに、シクロヘキシルイソシアネートを使用したことを除いて、実施例1と同一な方法で単位セル電池を製造した。
電池の製造後、直に電池の出力を測定し、60℃で4週間放置した後に電池の出力を測定して二つの値を比較した。電池の出力は、USABC FreedomCarマニュアルに基づいて測定し、その結果は次の表1に示す。

上記一般式(1)で表される化合物は、全電解液中に0.1〜2重量%含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電解液。

請求項1または2に記載の電解液を添加してなる二次電池。
[項目4]
上記二次電池の負極は、晶質又は非晶質炭素系負極材からなる群より選ばれる1種以上の炭素系負極材を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
[項目5]
上記炭素系負極材はグラファイトであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の二次電池。
[項目6]
上記二次電池の正極は、リチウムイオンの挿入および脱離が可能な化合物を正極材として含むことを特徴とする請求項3から5の何れか1項に記載の二次電池。
[項目7]
上記二次電池はリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする請求項3から6の何れか1項に記載の二次電池。
[項目8]
上記二次電池は、USABC FreedomCar規定に基づいて60℃で4週間放置した後に測定された電池の出力減少率が10%未満であることを特徴とする請求項3から7の何れか1項に記載の二次電池。
Claims (4)
- 正極材を含む正極と、負極材を含む負極と、電解液と、を含み、
前記正極材はLiMn 2 O 4 であり、
前記負極材はグラファイトであり、
前記電解液は、次の一般式(1)で表される化合物を含む、
二次電池。
